Happy Wedding Day - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! As I mentioned with a card post earlier this month, recently had a request to add a few more wedding cards to my stash of cards, so once again I pulled out a favorite die from Simon Says Stamp, a simple sentiment, and this time an alcohol ink background - and put this card together! I used one single color of alcohol ink to create this background, just adding blending solution and blowing it around with an air blower until I was happy with the result.

Hard to capture this in the photos - but this is a peek-a-boo shaker card! I used the basic heart outline from Deco Heart Wafer Die to cut a window out of my panel of Yupo paper with alcohol ink design on it, then cut a matching window on my white cardbase. I tucked the colored heart on the inside of the card, then created a double sided shaker window! These next couple photos show how it looks opened up:

I filled the shaker window with sparkly Pretty Pink Posh Iridescent Mini Heart Confetti, then glued the detail die cut from Deco Heart Wafer Die on the outside of the acetate on the front of the card using tiny bits of Ranger Multi-medium Matte. Isn't it fun and sparkly?!?!?

Finally, I die cut the Big Happy Wafer Die from white cardstock and adhered that on the front, then added a heat embossed sentiment from All My Love stamp set to finish off!

I love the fun twist of a see-through window. Just a little something extra special!
