I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared several cards for that! Today I'm sharing a card I created on last week's YouTube Live with Lea Lawson as a sneak peek. We used the same products in different ways to create two completely different cards. It was so fun! The fun Detail Leaf set is what we decided to feature for our cards for this live - I used the hot foil plate, and Lea used the stamp set, then we ink blended in completely different colors, which was super fun!
While Lea used rainbow colors - which is a favorite of hers, I feel like I featured a color combo that fit Lea's style a lot as well! Corals, pinks, and aquas - with some gold of course!
I used the Mini Slimline Frames die cut from matte gold cardstock to anchor the image on my soft pink cardbase, and die cut the center from white cardstock to inset to fit my image and sentiment.
I also used the new Nested Rectangles hot foil plate and die with one of the Satin Pastels hot foil rolls - my new favorites! They are so pretty! I trimmed the rectangles at the corners and used a design element that was inspired by one of Lea's cards from the release - a unique way to stretch my supplies and use a rectangle set for a mini slimline design!
Sentiment was from the stamp set, and heat embossed in gold to coordinate with my hot foiling and frame - I love that it has a coordinating die as well!
I used foam behind the top part of the leaves, and tucked the bottom under the frames - this gave some fun mixed dimension that I loved!
Finally, a few Glitter Drops in a mix of Blush, Aqua, and Gold finish this card off!
