Patches of Pink Design Team Post and Link-up Party!

Hello! It's time for another link-up party at Patches of Pink! Since it October, the theme this month is Halloween. As you might have seen on my blog before, our family doesn't celebrate Halloween, so I am substituting a Fall project! I decided to make a set of thank you notes - perfect to give as a gift! Here they are:

I cut a leaf off of Flower Shoppe project cartridge - and just used several different pattern papers from a My Minds Eye 6x6 paper stack. I actually cut several more in more large and busy patterns and plan on using those on a layout, because they look so pretty together!

I then used my Martha Stewart Score board to make a frame around the edges, and stamped a simple sentiment from Unity Stamps. I love how simple, and yet elegant they are! Here is the whole set together - aren't they pretty?!?!?

Thanks for stopping by - make sure and head over to Patches of Pink and link up your own creation! Can't wait to see what you make!!!

I am also entering this in the Unity Stamp Co. Challenge - Autumn Harvest. The challenge is to get inspiration from a poem that is posted on their blog, or from something that reminds you of Autumn. What better than falling leaves, and being thankful?

  1. I love the simplicity of these cards. The bright colored leaf contrasts beautifully with the white paper and simple sentiment:-)

  2. I LOVE clean and simple cards they are just so pretty! I Love the colors you chose for the leaves and I love the embossing! Great job!~Shelly

  3. Love the simplicity yet striking effect of your cards! And, the scoring looks great too, and the Unity sentiment for the challenge is perfect!! Fabulous cards Heather!

  4. So Beautiful! I just love, love, love the simplicity. They are gorgeous!

  5. I love love love the idea of using the MS scoreboard for the borders. I've never thought of that! Thanks so much for the inspiration!!!
