It's official - Christmas season is here!!!

Good morning! Since Thanksgiving is officially over, it is time to break into Christmas time all the way! We took some time to put up a bunch of our Christmas decorations last night - pretty much everything except the tree. We have a history of forgetting to water our tree, and having it dry out and start making a mess...so we decided we better wait a week or so - so we don't have a dead tree before Christmas!

Anyway - here is a little Christmas card I made with the November Peachy Keen release:

I started by stamping the pine branch bough around the edges of the rounded off square. I added the holly in the center and colored it with Copic markers, then stamped the sentiment.
Next, I distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool, then added some Tim Holtz distress ink in Antique Photo. I hand trimmed a BUNCH of banners from a DCWV Christmas paper pad - LOVE the chevrons! Inked them with distress ink as well, then attached them randomly to the back of the decorated panel. Wrapped some red jute twine around, and added a stick on pearl.
Finished off by attaching the square panel with foam adhesive - leaving the banners hanging free - then added some faux stitching around the edges with a white gel pen.
Hope you are enjoying your weekend! Have a great day!!!
