My Craft Spot New Release Day 5

(If you are looking for the Peachy Keen Thankful Hop Post, please click HERE or scroll down!)

Good morning! We've reached Day 5 in the release sneaks for My Craft Spot, so today we are previewing the final set named Mistletoe. Tomorrow is the big reveal and release hop - with lots of chances to win one of the new sets - so make sure and stop by and join in the fun! Here is what I made for today:
I thought this sentiment was so fun! I started off by cutting a shape with my Spellbinder's Nestabilities, then inking the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink.
I cut the mistletoe using my Silhouette Cameo and a file from the Silhouette Store.
I tied some red jute twine from My Craft Spot around it in a pretty bow, then added some stick on pearls to the mistletoe before attaching with pop-dots.
My pattern paper is from October Afternoon - and I also attached my main frame with foam adhesive.
I made this as a card, but I almost contemplated putting it in a frame and using it to decorate the walls near wherever we hang our mistletoe! Might still have to make one and do that!

Anyway - thanks for visiting again today! Don't forget to visit My Craft Spot to see lots more examples of this fun set in action! Hope you have a wonderful day today - and see you again tomorrow for the new release hop!!!

  10. I had to swing over to let you know what about your card excites me. It's the half pearls of all sizes matching the size of each mistletoe leaf that really adds that extra 3-D full dimension feeling of your mistletoes. It's just fantastic. And everything that is behind your focal point is subtle by the excellent use of shading with Tim Holtz distress inks. I just love it!
