Winnie and Walter February Release Day 3

Good morning! Today is Day 3 of the reveal for the Winnie and Walter new release! I think that quite possibly two of my favorite cards of the entire release are in today's post - although I have another favorite to share tomorrow (can't wait to show you!) - anyway, back to what I was saying...

First up today, I'm sharing this soft and romantic card with the brand new Kindness stamp set, as well as the True Multifaceted Heart Cutaways:

I heat embossed the large kindness word on vellum, then fussy cut it out by hand, then heat embossed the smaller part of the sentiment on some dark gray cardstock, also in white. I cut both layers of the heart - one in floral pattern paper, and one in vellum, layered them all together, then machine stitched a wonky line to connect them all into one embellishment piece. Added a strip of linen ribbon, the outside edges of a doily (I cut off the center portion just by snipping around) and some jute twine.

Here is a closer look at the center bit - don't you just love texture? Between the linen ribbon, doily, vellum, machine stitching, and faceted heart - I just love the dimension and texture - and yet if you look, it would still be a very easy card to mail!

And then, we have this little cutie! Squeal - I LOVE that little birdie! He and the balloon and sentiment are actually from the set that is officially being revealed tomorrow - but I used the new True Multifaceted Circle dies to create an inked center for them.

I cut the faceted circle out, then laid it back into the negative, laid that over my white cardstock, and then applied ink with a foam applicator using that as a stencil. I stamped the bird, balloon, and sentiment over the top, then stamped the bird and balloon out separately to color and fussy cut out before paper piecing them back on. Those sequins? They just might be something fun that is being revealed tomorrow as well! :)

Here are links to what I used on these cards - I will link new products above after they go live in the Winnie and Walter store later this week - thanks for stopping by! Don't forget to head over to the Winnie and Walter blog and leave comments on today's post to enter to win today's giveaway - as well as see what the rest of the Design Team made! Have a wonderful day!
