Winnie and Walter February Release Day 4

Good morning one more time! Today is the 4th and final day of the new release at Winnie and Walter! Today I'm excited to finally be able to share my FAVORITE card of the entire release!!! I have been loving these new birds from the new LS: So Tweet with Evelin T Designs - and I especially love these little ones I put on here! I colored them up as robins! :)

I stamped them on Copic cardstock to color them, then fussy cut out all the colored parts, and paper pieced them onto my pattern paper (this allowed me to not have to cut out the leges, hair, etc...and yet still have it show. I stitched around each edge of my pattern paper, tucked a bit of doily under there, then added the large In a Word: Hello Cutaway out of some pattern paper from my scrap pile, and some black cardstock, layered them together, and stitched them on the card front as well. Added the tiny bit of sentiment heat embossed in white on a tiny bit of black cardstock and added that over the top.

Right at the end, I added a bit of Glossy Accents to the beaks, and then some on the bellies and sprinkled a bit of glitter there (not on the beaks, just the bellies!) - and this is another one of those flat and easy to mail cards as well! YAY!

And, here are those birds again, only this time paired up with another of the lovely new faceted dies, Flawless Heart Cutaways - and turned into a shaker card, filled with a SPECIAL Exclusive shaker mix of sequins!

I stamped and heat embossed the birds and "love" on vellum, and fussy cut them out. I used a bit of Copic marker on the birds - hard to see, but a bit of subtle depth. Added some jute twine for the birds to "perch" on - and the edges of that cardstock were cut with Essentials: Noelle Cutaways.

See those lovely sequins? Aren't they pretty!!! Such a fun mix!

I actually have THREE cards today! Couldn't fit everything into just two cards each day! This last one features the new Flawless Diamond Cutaway, as well as a sentiment from Wishing You from Evelyn T. Designs - the free with purchase set as part of Winnie and Walter's 2nd Birthday Bash!

I cut the diamond out of silver foil paper, added a watercolor wash with a few flicks of white paint, then adhered the diamond directly down. Stamped my sentiment, then tore two edges of the watercolor paper before layering over my pattern paper with a bit of lace and jute twine tucked underneath. Wouldn't this be a great modern wedding or bridal shower card?

Once again - here are all the links to what I used on these cards - except of course the new products which I'll ink above after they go live in the store. Thanks so much for stopping by today! Head on over to the Winnie and Walter Blog to check out all the details on the new release and see what the Design Team has to share today! Have a wonderful day - and weekend!

  13. Hi Heather, you have been very busy yet again! All three cards are great but my favourites are the first two with those adorable birds. The vellum ones are very clever and yes you can see the touch of colour you've added to them, just beautiful. x
