Good morning! Excited today to be kicking off a fun collaboration hop with Pretty Pink Posh and Avery Elle! Both Design Teams are combining product from these two amazing companies on some projects - and there are prizes up for grabs too, so make sure and leave a comment before you leave! You should have arrived here at my blog today from the Avery Elle blog - if not, make sure and head back there to start at the beginning of the hop so you don't miss any stops along the way!
I went all out summer on my card today! I've actually had this card finished for weeks, and had to wait until today to share it - so glad the day has finally come! I used Avery Elle's Stay Fresh and coordinating dies, paired up with Pretty Pink Posh's Storybook 4, Scallop Rectangle Frames, and Stitched Borders 1 dies - and of course a fun sprinkling of sequins!
I heat embossed the pineapple in gold, then just rubbed distress ink right onto it to color it - adding a light mist of water to help the color spread better. The "aloha" was cut with the coordinating dies out of white, then once adhered to the card, I covered it with a good layer of Glossy Accents to make it shine.
I used the inside of the Scallop Rectangle Frames die cut in gold, then into the center of that cut the Storybook 4 frame. Added a border along the bottom of my card using Stitched Borders 1 dies, and finished off with some Sunshine Glow, Peridot Mist, and Metallic Rose Gold sequins sprinkled on.
Your next stop along the hop is Caryn Davies - here is the entire blog hop lineup in case you get lost - make sure you leave comments at every stop along the way - there are two $25 gift certificates to each store up for grabs! Winners will be drawn randomly across all blogs from comments left by July 24th, 2016)
