Good morning! I recently had a request for some sympathy cards, so I went rummaging through my stamps to see if I could find some stamps that I hadn't used in a while and find a way to quickly assemble a large number of them. I ended up pulling out a couple of Mama Elephant sets that worked perfectly for these:
I used a combination of different inks and cardstocks from a few different manufacturers (didn't keep a good list - sorry about that!) - but it was fun to put the combinations together. Added some jute twine as well, and by using my MISTI these were fairly easy to assemble in an evening.
Here is a closer look at each of the colors combinations:
Sympathy cards are always some of the hardest to make - so I love when I can find a design that makes it easy to put several together at once.

Sympathy cards are always hard to make, but you nailed it with these soft, lovely cards!
ReplyDeleteLovely sympathy cards. I tend to think simple is best for this occasion. I am like you and tend to make multiples of any card to have some spares or to give to charity.I love my misti and can see making multiples a breeze using it. You also reminded me of that lovely stamp set that I have so thank you so much for sharing for many reasons! Off to make some sympathy cards - those cards you hope you do not have to use in a hurry.
