Hello! We are on the 3rd and final day of the blog hop for the brand new holiday release at Lil' Inker Designs! You should have arrived here from Sarah Jay - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards - so much cute Christmas stuff!
Both my cards today are fairly traditional as far as Christmas colors go, although I kind of like the pop of gray in this card that I think is a little unexpected and fun!
This card uses the fabulous new Merry Christmas Border Die - a perfect die to quickly and easily make some stunning cards - great for using scraps or mass producing cards!
I combined it with some plaid pattern paper, and used the Quilted Stitched Spirals Die on the black paper that you can see at the bottom.
I used a small circle punch to cut half circles out to thread my jute twine around so that it stays in place where I want it - I knew I would never keep it at a diagonal the way I wanted without doing that!
And then, who could help but love the darling new Moody Santa Stamp Set?!?!?!?
While I just adore the sentiments that come with it (seriously, some of them are PERFECT for my kiddos this year! Haha!) - I thought it would be fun to pair him up with one of the sentiments from the new All the Christmas You'll Ever Need 2 stamp set. I used Anytime Tags dies (an older set) to cut a window (then saved the tag for something later!).
I added some pattern paper scraps along the bottom, some jute twine, and then the adorable Santa cut out with the coordinating Moody Santa Dies, then used a white gel pen to accent on the Santa and add some stitching around the window. I also added those tiny dots on the larger letters of the sentiment.
Your next stop along the blog hop is Angel Rivera - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!
And now the really fun part! Laura has upped the prize for this release - one lucky person is going to win THE ENTIRE RELEASE! Winner will be chosen from comments left along the hop - so the more comments you leave, the better your chance of winning!
Here is the entire Blog Hop line-up - make sure and check out each stop and leave your comments:
