PPP/Altenew Collaboration Blog Hop

Good morning! Super excited this morning to be hopping along with not one, but TWO fabulous companies! I was excited to play with the beautiful new Modern Deer Stamp set from Altenew - a SERIOUSLY gorgeous layering stamp!

I couldn't resist making a shaker card, so I paired it up with a die cut from Pretty Pink Posh call Scallop Ovals, and filled it with lots of Iridescent Mini Circle Confetti - one of my favorites for shaker's right now.

I LOVE how it looks like frosty snow in the bottom of my shaker! Isn't it fun?

I stamped the deer with some different shades of gray ink from Simon Says Stamp - the lightest I used for the body, and stamped it with my MISTI. I then used a slightly darker gray, and sort of inked up around the front outside shoulder, the ears, and the rump, then stamped again with the MISTI so that it added some shading. Kinda hard to see in the photos, but it adds a bit of depth which I thought was fun. Then I lined up the layer with the eyes, nose, and shadow on the back (as well as the hooves which are hidden with confetti in the photos), and stamped them again in my darkest shade.

Finished off by mounting that entire front panel on a kraft cardbase - after tying some jute twine around it.
