Good morning! I recently found myself needing a guy birthday card for my hubby's younger brother. Since they both share a common interest (obsession!) with coffee, I pulled out a couple of Simon Says Stamp sets and put this together for him:
I used the popular stamp set, Coffee and Tea, that was part of the February Card Kit. This sold out in record time, but this adorable stamp set is still available - and TOTALLY a must have in my opinion! I used a couple of the sentiments to stamp a soft background on my white paper, then stamped the coffee cup on watercolor paper, watercolored the image, and fussy cut it out.
The main sentiment was built from a stamp set that actually released last year called You Matter, and the coordinating You Die. I used foam to add the sentiment banner and the coffee cup, then adhered the "you" directly on the stamped pattern paper, but left both edge curling up slightly over either the sentiment strip or the coffee cup for lots of fun dimension.
