Good evening! Just dropping by to let you know about the fun new Limited Edition Hopping Along Card Kit from Simon Says Stamp! These kits have been selling out in record time - so if you love it, make sure and order soon!

I put together a couple of quick cards to inspire you!

I used one of my favorite techniques - double layer embossing. The new Mod Flower Background included in the kit is is SOOO fun and pretty for this technique! Basically what I did is stamp that in clear embossing ink, then added my sentiment from the included new Easter Greetings Stamp Set over the top in Black Versamark Ink, THEN sprinkled on clear embossing powder and heat set.

Next, I pulled out some Distress Inks and blended over the top - the white flowers appear like magic, and the sentiment resists the ink as well. One layer, but a background and sentiment in one!

I added a couple flower stickers from the Pebbles Puffy Flower Icon Stickers, and die cut a scallop border along one side with Wavy Scallop Stitches Wafer Die. I mounted them with a layer of foam on the NEW Banana Yellow Cardstock and Mint cardstock in the kit, then paired them up with coordinating envelopes from the kit.
