Good morning! Back one last time to share the last day of sneak peeks with the BRAND NEW Winnie and Walter Release - it is one HUGE release - packed with beautiful stamps and dies, many of which have a baby theme that is timeless! All new releases will be available at 10 PM CST tonight!
Both of my cards today feature a darling set called Welcome to the Family which, like one of yesterday's features, was designed by Evelin T. Designs - I was lucky enough to meet, hug, and hang out with Evelin when I was at CHA last month - and she was exactly as sweet and adorable as her illustrations! First up - a little blue giraffe for a baby boy card!
I had fun using my Copics to color him up in the unexpected blue hues and accents with a white gel pen! Letters were cut with another fabulous new die set - LETTERS! It is called Typecast: Cary Letters Cutaways - I absolutely LOVE these letter dies! SOOO fun! Added a sentiment from the previously featured Sentimental: Love stamp set - I thought that little add on was perfect for a baby card. The front panel was done on the lovely postage cut from from Essentials: Lana Cutaways with a bit of hemp twine wrapped around to soften the top.
Next up, I used the same cute little critter set to make a sweet love theme card - perfect for Valentine's Day, an Anniversary for your sweetheart, or a "just because I love you" card! (Everyone gives those out, right? We SHOULD!)
I stamped the adorable bunnies and a few of the hearts from the set around the image, and the sentiments are built from a combination of Sentimental: Love and Sentimental: Endearments (for the "sweetheart"). I colored with my Zig markers and a waterbrush, let it dry, then mounted on a coordinating blue card base.
