LID April Release - Day 1

Hello! So happy today to begin sharing some fun projects for a brand new release at Lil' Inker Designs - there is such a fun combination of goodies in this release! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. Today I'm starting off featuring a card using not one, not two, but FIVE new items on it!

I love the darling new Hootie Patootie Stamp Set - and had fun coloring it up with Copics and cutting it out with the coordinating dies. I used the new Silly Stitched Squares Dies on the cardbase (which is exactly 4.25 x 4.25), then added a border cut using the new Stitched Chevron Border Die (a follow-up to one of my favorite LID dies - Stitched Scallop Border Die!) 

I built the sentiment using the fun new Pretty Painted Alphabet Stamp Set - I just love the feel of these! The sentiment underneath is part of the Hootie Patootie Stamp Set. Finished off with some jute twine tied around the card, and some Glossy Accents applied to the eyes, feet, nose, and leaves - just for a touch of shine!
