Hello! Back today for Day 2 of the new release hop at Lil' Inker Designs - there is such a fun combination of goodies in this release! You should have arrived here from Chrissy Larson - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win the amazing giveaway. I also have links to all the new products I used on today's cards!
Today I have two cards featuring some lovely new florals to share! First up, I used the GORGEOUS new Wreath of Roses stamp set on this clean and simple card:
I die cut my white cardstock first, then used my MISTI and the negative image to line up the stamp for a perfectly stamped image. I heat embossed it in white, then did some simple blending with Distress Ink in two tones for an ombre effect. I die cut the the "hello" that is also part of the Wreath of Roses Dies, and adhered it to the wreath. Background was die cut with a stitched rectangle, then I added some black splatters, adhered the wreath with foam adhesive, and added Glossy Accents to the "hello" for a touch of shine.
Next up, I had fun using the gorgeous flowers from Best Blooms Stamp Set to create this one layer flower arrangement:
I used various SSS dye inks to stamp it on white cardstock, then stamped the sentiment directly on top of it. I trimmed it down slightly, then adhered it directly on a kraft cardbase. I love the sentiments in this stamp set too! They also come with coordinating dies, although I didn't use those this this time since I wanted to create a one layer arrangment.
Your next stop along the blog hop is Jennifer Carter - head over there next to finish the hop before you go shopping. See you tomorrow with more projects and fun!
