MCS Anything Goes Challenge!

Good morning! It is time for a new challenge over at My Craft Spot - and this week is super fun! The challenge is Anything Goes - so pull out your My Craft Spot stamps and amaze us with your creativity! Here is what I made this week:
A simple birthday card for a sweet girl! I used this stamp set:

Love all the fun birthday sentiments on this one! Definitely one of my go-to sets!
I used some Basic Grey pattern paper, and some Bazzil Cardstock for my cardbase and matte. The girl was cut with my Silhouette Cameo and mounted on foam adhesive.
Added my sentiment, a bit of bling, and some Posy Trendy Twine (find it HERE at My Craft Spot)
I really hope you will join us this week! Can't wait to see what you make!

Sew Dang Cute!

Good morning! I don't know if I have mentioned lately, but I so very much LOVE my Paper Smooches stamps! And I have missed playing along with challenges lately, so I was excited to join in on this weeks Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge and the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger for this week:
I used some Basic Grey papers, circle is cut with a Spellbinder's Die, used some May Arts Ribbon and jute twine, paper-pieced the sewing machine with Copic cardstock and colored it with Copics, and added a doily and some sequins with a little bling in the center.

Here is the Paper Smooches sketch:

And here is the Trigger photo that I used for color inspiration:

You're my type - Craft Dash

Hello! I can't tell you how MUCH I am loving the 10 Minute Craft Dash Challenge! It is always such a fun and adrenalin inducing challenge - and it really helps me get out of a creative rut! There just isn't enough time to think about (or stress) about what to do on a card! Here is the one I made this time around with 1 minute and 24 seconds to spare (I forgot to take a picture of the timer until it was too dark to get a good picture...):
And here was the color inspiration:
I used my very first Avery Elle stamp set, stamped with MFT ink on a rectangle cut out with my Lil' Inker Stitched Rectangle dies. Added some various May Arts lace, silk ribbon, and velvet ribbon behind, and a few sequins with a bit of bling in the center. The background paper is from Crate Paper's Maggie Holmes 6x6 paper pad.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a wonderful day already!

A Little Message For You...

Hello! I am so excited, because I finally had a little time to craft today! It has been a crazy week, and I am going to be gone all day tomorrow, so I just HAD to squeeze in a few minutes! And I have been wanting to play along with the Lawnscaping Challenge for a while now. The current challenge is embossing, so I went with some heat embossing for my card. Also pulled some color inspiration from the current Inspired By Challenge:
I stamped and heat embossed the typewriter and sentiment from one of my few Lawn Fawn sets on a rectangle cut with my Lil' Inker's Stitched Rectangle Dies, added some sequins, and colored a bit with Copic markers. Layered it on some Glitz Designs paper and self adhesive Cork, added a bit of Mister Huey's spray mist, and some May arts lace and jute twine.

And here is the color inspiration:

Thanks for stopping by! See you again soon!

New Stamp Release Party Coming!

Hello! I truly feel like I have been neglecting this poor blog the past couple of weeks - but I promise to try and pay more attention soon! Still trying to get life going again after being gone for a week, having a friend visiting - and then trying to get back into the homeschool groove as well. Add in a dentist appointment (yuck!) - and there just hasn't been much time for crafting! That will be changing soon though!

For now - I wanted to let you know about the new release at My Craft Spot - coming soon!!! I can't tell you how adorable the new stamps and dies are - I know you are going to love them!

Also - if you place this release party button on your blog, you have a chance to win a stamp set of your choice! Make sure and head over to My Craft Spot and read the details!

SPS - Monthly Hop and New Challenge

Yep! It is the first Saturday of the month - which means it is time for the monthly hop at Shop Pumpkin Spice, and the new weekly challenge! You should have arrived here from Tanya - if you are just stopping by, make sure and hop on over to Shop Pumpkin Spice to start at the beginning and see all of the fun creations! I also am posting the entire hop line-up at the bottom of this post in case you get lost along the way!

The challenge this time around is "Eggs" - however you want to interpret it! Here is what I came up with:
I used my Silhouette Studio Designer Edition Software to create a shadow for the egg silhouette, then cut it out with my Silhouette Cameo
Next I used these clear Thanks Stamps from American Crafts to heat emboss in white the sentiment and swirls directly on the egg:

I rounded a couple corners, and for the most part kept this a pretty flat, one layer, and mail-able card!
All my pattern paper is from this Crate Paper "Random" 6x6 paper pad - still some of my favorite pattern papers:

Finished off with a couple of black sequins that I just picked up recently - been loving seeing them everywhere lately and had to join in the fun!!!
Thanks again for stopping by today! Next stop on the hop is Cheryl - I know she will have something fabulous for you!

Here is the entire line-up in case you get lost along the way:

Sweet Friend

Good morning!!! I feel like it has been forever since I have crafted or posted! I had a few pre-scheduled posts last week when I was out of town visiting family, and still have a dear friend from out of town here visiting - but the other evening I felt like I was bursting to create SOMETHING! So, I sat down for about 10 minutes and put this together with some new goodies that were waiting for me when I got home:
I just ADORE some of the darling vintage stamp images from Lil' Inker Designs! I used the square stitched dies to cut a square from PTI rustic white cardstock, then stamped the image and sentiment and inked the edges with distress ink.
I layered some pattern papers from Basic Grey's True Love 6x6 paper pad, and added some washi tape on the bottom.
Finished off with some bling, and a jute twine bow.
I feel like I have missed you all so much! So glad to be back - thanks for stopping by today!
