Anchor Love

Good morning! Dropping in again this morning with a card for the Unity Itty Bitty a Day Challenge going on the Unity Facebook page using the itty bitty "Love is my Anchor":

I heat embossed the image with silver embossing powder on vellum, then machine stitched that to my pattern paper. The banner is hand trimmed, with the sentiment heat embossed in white, and a tiny bit of jute twine tied on in a bow. Pattern paper I picked up from Hobby Lobby, and finished off with a tiny Tim Holtz paper clip.

Thanks for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!

  3. This turned out beautifully! I love how you made the anchor silver and when you said you also heat embossed the sentiment, I couldn't believe it! It looked like a sticker-- it was so pro! Sometimes my heat embossing turns out a little more sloppy, so I really appreciate your skills on this card. I also adore anything that incorporates sewing and I like the see-through feel that the vellum gives to the card. The twine and paperclip add just the right bit of dimension! Really lovely and I'm so glad you shared this with us for this week's Simon Says Stamp Monday Challenge!
