Reverse Confetti March Release Day 2

Good morning! Welcome to Day 2 of sneak peeks for the fabulous new March Release at Reverse Confetti! Woohoo! We have one more day of sneak peeks tomorrow, then the release is live on the 8th and there will be a blog hop to celebrate!

Today I have this clean and simple little duo of cards to share!

I made these cards 4 1/4 x 4 1/4 inches - so basically an A2 card, but trimmed down to a square! Makes them such a cute and fun size to surprise someone with! I used a bit of Post it Tape to mask off a ground on each one, then blended a bit of Distress Oxide above that on each of them. This first one used Mustard Seed:

And the second one I used Salty Ocean:

I stamped a couple of the tiny cuties from the new Spring Pals stamp set, and die cut them with the Coordinating Confetti Cuts. I left them super clean and simple as well, not even adding any coloring! I attached them with foam adhesive, and stamped one of the sentiments under each of them.

I die cut one of the sentiments from Hooray & Cheers and Thanks & Hello Confetti Cuts - cutting each word two times and stacking them up together for a bit more dimension, then attached directly on the background above the critters. As a final finishing touch, I covered the large die cut words with Glossy Accents for a bit of shine and texture!

Here is a look at the new products that I used on these cards that will be releasing in a few days!

Reverse Confetti March Release Day 1

Good morning! Welcome to Day 1 of sneak peeks for the fabulous new March Release at Reverse Confetti! Woohoo! Sneak peeks begin today, and run for the next two days, then the release is live on the 8th and there will be a blog hop to celebrate!

Today I'm starting off with a Mother's Day card featuring the brand new Hatbox Florals stamp set, as well as some of the new pattern paper and one of the gorgeous new dies!

First of all - I just have to say how much I love the new Darling Dots pattern paper! I think it is my favorite yet!

The new Stitched Hex Tag Confetti Cut was the perfect base for my floral arrangement and sentiment - I looped some simple jute string in the top as an accent.

The florals were colored very simply with just 4 Copic marker colors (colors linked below in supply list), then die cut with the Coordinating Hatbox Florals Confetti Cuts, and finally mounted with foam adhesive on the tag. I also attached the tag with foam adhesive to my cardbase for lots of dimension.

Here is a look at the new products that I used on this card that will be releasing in a few days!

Pinkfresh March Challenge - Florals

Pinkfresh Studios is kicking off a BRAND NEW March Challenge: Florals - paired of course with the option a fun color combo! I hope you'll come play along for a chance to win some amazing prizes - you can enter cards OR scrapbook layouts!!!

Here is the challenge info and inspiration photo:

I had so much fun with this challenge! Some of my favorite Pinkfresh Studio sets involve florals, so it was simply a matter of choosing which one to use!

I decided to use one of the large floral arrangements on Fancy Blooms, and paper piece some of the larger images in with some pattern paper from a couple of Pinkfresh Studio's 6x6 paper pads - Everyday Musings and Joyful Day. I used the Coordinating Dies to cut the image out, then colored the smaller images with Copic makers, and also added some shading to the paper pieced images with Copics for a bit of extra depth.

I added a large sentiment from Scripted Bold Sentiments 2, and a smaller one from the same set heat embossed on a strip of black cardstock, then mounted the florals with foam adhesive. I matted that panel with a bit more of the pattern paper, added some enamel dots from Joyful Day Mixed Embellishment Pack, and a tiny heart from Everyday Musings Puffy Stickers to finish it off!

Border Window Cards - Pinkfresh Studio

Good morning! Today is my day on the Pinkfresh YouTube Channel with a video creating these two cards that feature a fun window fold design with a couple of the lovely border dies from the January Release, as well as some pattern paper from the beautiful Everyday Musings 6x6 Paper Pad! You can view the video HERE, and more details - and LOTS of photos - below!

I love the intricate details in these two border dies - Spring Floral and Gatsby. I used both layers for my cards, but die cut both layers from each die from white cardstock. This gives a nice subtle texture!

I particularly loved how this soft green pattern paper went with the Spring Floral die!

It is soft and pretty, but still really pops!

And I knew the Gatsby Die needed something bolder and brighter for sure - and the subtle pattern of this bright paper was perfect!

If you watch the video, you can see my entire process. I planned on leaving these floating free, but I did end up slightly attaching both front borders on my cards. This made it easier for me to photograph them, and pop them in an envelope. But they would be super fun to leave floating free as well!

Both of the sentiments came from Lost in the City stamp set - lots of fun and versatile tiny sentiments in that set. Plus it is super fun on it's own!

Which border die or color combo is your favorite?

Altenew March BAF Dahlia

Good morning! Today I'm joining Altenew to celebrate the newest addition to the Build a Flower family for March - Dahlia! You can also find the bundle with inks HERE.

I used this beautiful set to stamp on kraft paper - love the different feel this can give an image! I created two different cards with the images I stamped.

For this first card, I also used the beautiful Dotted Scales Debossing Folder on my white background, and added some black splatters before mounting the flowers with foam adhesive over the top.

I trimmed the panel down a bit and added a kraft mat behind it before mounting the entire panel on a white cardbase. Finished off by heat embossing one of the sentiments in white on black cardstock, and mounting that in the upper left corner.

For the second card, I used the lovely Spicy Yogurt cardstock for my background, and for some texture, I added some layered strips of vellum that I tore the edges on. Such a soft ethereal effect - and by mounting the flowers over the top, I was able to hide the adhesive just behind the flowers.

Finished off this one by stamping a sentiment in one of the same green inks I used for the leaves, and adding a few sparkly clear sequins for a bit of sparkle!
