Good morning! Today I'm joining Altenew to celebrate the newest addition to the Build a Flower family for March - Dahlia! You can also find the bundle with inks HERE.
I used this beautiful set to stamp on kraft paper - love the different feel this can give an image! I created two different cards with the images I stamped.
I used this beautiful set to stamp on kraft paper - love the different feel this can give an image! I created two different cards with the images I stamped.
For this first card, I also used the beautiful Dotted Scales Debossing Folder on my white background, and added some black splatters before mounting the flowers with foam adhesive over the top.
I trimmed the panel down a bit and added a kraft mat behind it before mounting the entire panel on a white cardbase. Finished off by heat embossing one of the sentiments in white on black cardstock, and mounting that in the upper left corner.
For the second card, I used the lovely Spicy Yogurt cardstock for my background, and for some texture, I added some layered strips of vellum that I tore the edges on. Such a soft ethereal effect - and by mounting the flowers over the top, I was able to hide the adhesive just behind the flowers.
Finished off this one by stamping a sentiment in one of the same green inks I used for the leaves, and adding a few sparkly clear sequins for a bit of sparkle!
