Growing in Unity - Day 3 - Trust in the Lord

Hello! I'm back with my third card for my Growing in Unity week - and so far, I think this one is my favorite! Like yesterday, I used another of the stamp of the week stamps - only this one is from week 3.
I stamped on some pattern paper from Simple Stories Summer Fresh 6x6 paper pad. Did a bit of coloring with Copic markers to highlight the hearts.
I wrapped some jute twine from Ribbon Carousel around the bottom edges, used an EK success edge punch across the top, and distressed the edges with my Tim Holtz distress tool.
The background papers are from the same paper pad, also distressed. I added some strips of chevron ribbon, also from Ribbon Carousel, as banners underneath the image panel.
Finished off by attaching the image panel with foam adhesive, and attaching to a kraft paper card base.
I'm so glad you stopped by to visit me today! Remember to leave a comment here today (and on Day 1 and Day 2 of this week) to be entered to win 2 Itty Bitties of your choice! I will draw a winner this Saturday.

  17. Love the almost patriotic feel of this card with the colors. Maybe it's the striped ribbons that remind me of little flags? Anyway, it's lovely!
