Good morning! I thought the colors for the Play Date Cafe Challenge this week were pretty fun, so I decided to play along with a couple of my Peachy Keen stamps - and join in for this weeks Peachy Challenge. If you haven't see yet - it is a good one - JUST CARDS - so it's easy to play along! I hope you will join us! Here is what I made:
And here are the colors - Apricot, Canary, Latte, and Rose:
I used my Silhouette and a file from the Silhouette store to cut my ice cream cone (click HERE to see the file)
The papers are all from my Crate Paper 6x6 Paper Heart pad - still love these papers way beyond Valentines Day! I inked the edges a bit with some Tim Holtz distress ink as well.
I added a couple of Peachy faces to the ice cream using the Cherub Face Assortment. Used a white gel pen and copics to highlight the faces a bit. Also darkened the lines a bit with a black pen - just so they showed up better on my pattern paper.
Pop-dotted the ice cream cone from the background, and added some stick on bling.
The sentiment is from the March Release, one of the add-ons called "With a Cherry on Top" - and I rounded a couple of corners off to finish up with.
Remember to stop by the Peachy Keen Connection tonight at 7 PM Eastern time for the release party of this months sets! There will be challenges (one of which I get to host!) - lots of fun chatting, and prizes! Hope to see you there!!!
