Peachy Keen Stamps and Core'dinations Blog Hop - Day 2

Good morning! I'm excited to share a couple of projects with you today using Peachy Keen stamps, and some paper from Core'dinations who have teamed up with Peachy Keen for a blog hop this week! If you just started here, you will want to head over to the Peachy Keen blog to start the hop there so you don't miss out on any of the stops or prizes!

You can check out the prizes at the bottom of this post - LOTS of fun! You have until Sunday June 10th to enter for the giveaways - make sure and read the details on the PKS blog and Core'dinations blog on how to enter to win one of the prizes for this hop. Also...make sure and look for one of the two "mini peaches" hidden somewhere on the hop! If you find it, you have an extra chance to win! Make sure and look hard - it is pretty tiny!

I made two cards for you today - here is the first one:
I used one of the brand new releases for June:

This is a perfect image to paper piece...although I should warn you that your hand might cramp up a little! I colored the bird and bird house with my Copic markers, paper pieced the tree with some Core'dinations paper (LOVE the texture!) - then did a little highlighting with my Copics on the tree to add some depth and dimension.
One of my favorite parts of playing with Core'dinations paper is the way it tears. I love the way it adds texture. So I tore the bottom edge of the background panel, rounded the top corners, then ran it through my Cuttlebug with the one of my embossing folders. Then I used their sand paper block to rough it up a little. Love how it gives it a distressed look! Then attached the tree and bird with pop-dots.
Wrapped some Baker's twine around the card and tied a bow, then backed my distressed paper with a piece of white paper, stamped the sentiment, used a Copic marker to color in the "welcome" and added a stick on pearl. Attached the whole thing with foam adhesive for fun dimension.
And here is my second card! For this one I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut out the cute fairy! HERE is the link to the file if you are interested in it!
I used some paper from Echo Park's Graceful 6x6 paper pad to piece the fairy together, and added a peachy face using one of my all time favorites:

The sentiment is from the new release for June:

I also used my Copics on this card to highlight and outline a little bit.
I used some Core'dinations paper in soft green and the cream embossed dots. I distressed the edges of the green with my Tim Holtz distress tool - LOVE how well it distressed! Very cool effect! Then I tore the edges of the cream, layered it on top of the green, and splattered a bit of pink October Afternoon sprinklers on top before attaching my fairy with pop-dots.
Here you can see pink splatters a bit better:
Finished off with a bit of lace along the side, some jute twine from Ribbon Carousel, a PTI button, and a bit of randomly scattered bling!
Now, just in case you get lost along the way, here is the line up for today's hop:
