Soft Skyline Thanks

Good morning! So excited to share a card I had tons of fun making!

I was completely inspired by the current Runway Inspired Challenge:

I started off by heat embossing an image from Altenew's Sketchy Cities America on vellum in white, then fussy cutting it out two times. I used some washi tape on the bottom of my soft yellow cardstock to ground everything, then layered the skylines slightly offset over the top of each other with a thin strip of glue along the bottom of them. Once they dried a little, I trimmed them off to match the edges of my cardstock. I scored the top edge of the card three times for some interest, then added some more vellum with a torn edge on the top. Finally, attached a die cut Thanks word die from Paper Smooches with some machine stitching, and finished off with a couple words added on with Staz-on ink using Many Thanks stamp set, also from Paper Smooches.

Love how soft and pretty this came out - and I never would have tried something like this without the inspiration in the photo!

Thanks for stopping by - have a wonderful day!
