Good morning! Stopping by to share a few more cards with the AMAZING new release at Unity Stamps from last night - these penguins...could they be any cuter?!?!? I am in love with them! I made a simple set of cards - and another Quick Tip Video on adding Vellum and Sequins with Wonky Stitching:
Here is that video (please excuse the horrible lighting by my sewing machine...it's kind of in a dark corner there - hopefully you can see anyway?):
And here are all the cards up close:
I used watercolor paper and MFT ink and a "smooshing" technique to create the backgrounds.
Once the colors dried, I added some Heidi Swapp Color Shine in Gold over the top:
I trimmed tiny strips of that striped pattern paper, then tore the edges...
The sequins were from a random set I got a while back at Joann's - can't remember who they were by!
I attached these to the card bases using some strong adhesive tape.
Here is the entire set - I used each and every stamp in this one! Penguin Pals:
Thanks for stopping by again to see some more fun projects! Don't forget to check out my post HERE from last night and leave a comment here and on the rest of the hop for a chance to win this weeks giveaways! Here is a reminder of all the sales:
