Hello everyone! Today I'm SUPER excited to share with you a fun new Rainbow Splash release from Simon Says Stamp! Why is this so exciting for me you might ask? Well...many of the sets releasing were designed by someone very special to me - my oldest daughter, Katie! She graduated with a graphic design degree earlier this year, and did her internship (which was her final class) with Simon Says Stamp. During that time, she did some stamp designing. Neither of us were sure when they would release - and it was an amazing surprise when they arrived in our mailbox and I opened the package!
I have a video on YouTube that Katie and I filmed together, introducing the sets, and showing the cards that I created. You can watch it in HD on YouTube HERE, or watch it right here on my blog:
And here is a closer look at all of the cards I shared in the video. I've linked all the supplies for these cards at the bottom of this post as well:
For all these sports theme cards, I used A2 Postage Rectangles in different colors of Simon Says Stamp cardstock, and die cut a rectangle with Wonky Rectangles to fit over the top of it. This provided a fun canvas to add all the fun sport theme elements over the top! I stamped every single image from each stamp set, used the coordinating stencils to color, and die cut with the coordinating dies. Each element is popped up with foam, and I added sentiments from each set as well - the only element I didn't use every single item on! Here are lots more photos of these finished cards - scroll further down to see some floral samples:
Next up, I used Enchanted Blooms and Scandi Flora Motif on each of these two cards:
For this first one, I used the Scandi Flora Motif with white embossing paste on a white cardbase. For the next one, I used it with coordinating inks in a random pattern on the cardbase. For both cards, I heat embossed the main floral image, and did some emboss resist ink blending over the top. Used some Rainbow Splash cardstock to add some pops of coordinating color! Here are more photos of both the floral cards:

Good morning! I'm back to share a card using the next of the special STAMPtember collaborations throughout the month! Each collaboration is with one of your favorite companies, is limited edition, and only available while supplies last. When it's gone, it's gone! Today's special release is from This Calls for Confetti:
Today's card was VERY unexpected for me! I don't create Halloween cards, so I usually skip the sets that are specifically for that purpose. It was fun to take this one, stretch it out of the box, and come up with a VERY different card design! And it's a shaker too, just for extra fun! I live in the Pacific Northwest, and Bigfoot is a bit of a legend around here, so this card makes me laugh a bit extra! I used Woodland Treescape die to create the main focal point of my image and shaker element. I used a bit of Honey ink on my cardbase and the individual trees, otherwise there is just lots of white space on this card. I filled the shaker with Trinity Stamps Sparkle Stars for some subtle sparkle, and heat embossed the main image with clear embossing powder after stamping for extra shine. Sentiment was stamped, trimmed into a thin strip, and tucked under one side of the window. Here is a closer look at this finished card:

I had so much fun pulling out a Pinkfresh stamp, stencil, and die combo again to play with - and mixing and matching it with Simon Says Stamp dies and inks! I stamped the image in Fawn ink first, leaving the stamp lined up in my MISTI to restamp after ink blending. I added color to the image with Artichoke, Fairy, Plum, and Honey ink, then restamped over it with black ink for a crisp outline. I cut it out with the coordinating die, then cut out some panels to layer it together. I first cut a A2 Scalloped Rectangle from white cardstock to layer over Cream cardstock for the base. Then I cut a layer of Concord and 9th cardstock and SSS Sage cardstock using A2 Rectangles and More A2 Rectangles - I love how those two sets work together to give a perfect range of every possible size you might want or need! I layered the florals over top with foam adhesive, stamped and die cut a sentiment to pop up on two layers of foam adhesive, then finished off with a few Pinkfresh Peach Fuzz Jewels for a touch of sparkle! Today's special release includes TWO sets - this one is by La La Land Crafts:
I went soft and simple for that fun little deer image, heat embossing it in white on some pattern paper from 49 and Market Mistletoe and Memories paper pack. I added a few more pieces of pattern paper from the same paper pad to layer up, and a die cut frame using Modern Teardrops die. A few Simple Stories enamel dots add some fun sparkle, and a bit of May Arts twine tied in a bow tucked on the deer finish this card off! Here is a closer look at this finished card:
