PS SPARKS - Flowers

Hello! It's time for this weeks new Paper Smooches SPARKS challenge - here is what I made this week:

It is the first week of the month, so that means it is a Trend Watch Challenge:

And here is the inspiration piece:

Isn't it beautiful?!?!?  I loved the soft and dreamy color scheme, and tried to capture that in my card. I used two PS stamp sets, Calico for the flowers and leaves, and Salutations for my sentiment.

I stamped my flowers and leaves using several different Versamagic Inks - love how well they layer together! The sentiment was stamped with MFT kraft ink, and I added a sprinkling of self adhesive pearls. Finished off with a bit of washi, a tiny piece of Tim Holtz film strip, held on with a tiny Tim Holtz paper clip.

Thanks so much for stopping by to visit! Looking forward to seeing your creations this week as well! Please stop by and see what the rest of the SPARKS team put together:

Unity FWF - You Lift My Spirits

Good morning! It's Friday - and we are on the road heading home to visit family - so excited to be seeing them all! But I also thought I would share a bright and fun spring card for Unity Friends with Flair - as well as for the Washi Tape Challenge in the Moxie Fab World:
I also thought it would be fun to play along a little more in the Unity {be inspired} Challenge - I used the color inspiration for this card:

I used my brand new Unity March Kit of the Month - these are seriously so much fun! You get so many fun stamps, and so much variety for such a great price! I really am addicted! Anyway...I stamped my images from the kit of some green Bazzill Card Shoppe cardstock and heat embossed with white powder, then inked the edges with some coordinating distress ink.
Mounted it on some American Crafts pattern paper, then added some bling in the bottom right corner, and glued on a couple of Studio Calico wood veneer people - the idea was to have them look like they were holding on to the kite strings...not sure if it worked or not!
I added some pink polka dot washi tape to a couple corners, then a bit of teal polka dot washi tape to the top right corner.
Layered a bow made out of Baker's Twine and a flower from my stash in the bottom corner, and used a Tim Holtz paper clip to attach a small piece of Tim Holtz film strip.
Kind of a random card - but it totally makes me feel like spring! Hope it brightened your day as well! Have a wonderful Friday and a great weekend!

Unity FWF - Moxie Fab Camera Craze Challenge

Good morning! I have been itching to play along with the Camera Craze Challenge over at Moxie Fab World - and since today is Friends with Flair Friday at the Unity Blog, it seemed perfect to combine the two! Here is what I made:
I started off with some super fun My Mind's Eye pattern papers, and stamped the camera and sentiment on it. I inked the edges of each layer with coordinating distress ink as well.
I layered the two papers together, then added some Tim Holtz film strip trim, stapled on the edges to hold it in place.
Added some bling to the camera, and some drips of Mister Huey's to finish it off.
Hope your day is going fabulous! Have a great weekend!
