Little Tangles Challenge - Hope Anchors the Soul

Good morning! It's the start of a new challenge at Little Tangles! Here is my card:

The challenge this month is Silver and Gold (Anyone else singing the song from the old Rudolph the Red Nose Reindeer? HERE is a link in case you want to sing along with it!)

I pulled out an oldie but a goodie for this card - Hope Anchors - and stamped it in Embossing ink, then sprinkled it in alternating layers of silver and gold embossin gpowder - I love the subtle ombre effect!

I added some Christmas pattern paper and some silver washi tape from my stash to finish off this simple and masculine card!

Little Tangles Challenge - Welcome to the World Sweet Baby

{{{This is my second post for today - for my Reverse Confetti SFYTT Post, please scroll down or click HERE}}}

Good morning! It's the start of a new challenge at Little Tangles! Here is my card:

This month is a coloring challenge! I love this - because there are so many different ways to color up images - I chose to go with watercolors for my take!
I hadn't had much opportunity to play with the adorable Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee stamp set, so I stamped it up with a coordinating sentiment on watercolor paper and used my watercolors to color it in. Once it dried, I cut it out with the coordinating Itty Bitty Welcoming Committee Dies.

I added some fun pattern paper from Crate Paper, a little scallop border, the rest of my sentiment heat embossed on some gray cardstock, and then mounted the fun image with foam adhesive for some dimension. Added a jute twine bow on the top as a finishing touch!

Little Tangles Challenge - Little Woodsman Birthday Card

{{{This is my second post for today - for my Reverse Confetti SFYTT Post, please scroll down or click HERE}}}

Good morning! It's the start of a new challenge at Little Tangles! This month is a sketch challenge - and I made a birthday card for my nephew - whose birthday happens to be today!

Here is the sketch for this month - I turned it to the side for my take:

I love the adorable Lumberjack Love stamp set! I live in the Pacific Northwest, and grew up in a small community with a vast logging history - Loggerodeo is a longtime summer tradition! This set always makes me think of that! :)

I colored in the images with Copics, then die cut them with the coordinating dies. I offset my oval slightly, and moved the sentiment from Say Yes to Donuts to the bottom, then layered everything together, using foam adhesive behind the trees, stump, and little guy.
