My Craft Spot Spring Release - Day 5

Good morning! YAY! Today is the fifth and last day of sneak peeks for the new release at My Craft Spot! Tomorrow is the big release hop - make sure and come back tomorrow for that! You don't want to miss all the inspiration, and the prizes all along the way! For today, we played with the new stamp set called Feel Better Soon:
I used my Silhouette Cameo yet again, and this time cut out a sewing machine silhouette.
All my pattern paper is from a couple different Basic Grey 6x6 paper pads. I also tucked a doily behind the sewing machine, before attaching it with foam adhesive.
Finished off with some lace trim, that fabulous measuring tape ribbon from May Arts, and a bit of Blossom Trendy Twine (available HERE from My Craft Spot) tied with a black button.
Make sure and head over now to My Craft Spot to see the last of the sneak's by the Design Team, and have a chance to win your choice of 5 colors of Baker's Twine - maybe some of these new colors that are now available:

See you again tomorrow for the big reveal and new release hop!!! Have a wonderful day!!!

My Craft Spot - Sweet Birthday Wishes

Good morning! I'm sharing a sweet little birthday card over at My Craft Spot this morning - it's perfect for this weeks challenge, Sweet Treats! If you haven't played along yet - I hope you will join in the fun!
My sentiment came from this stamp set called Sweet Sentiments:

I used some papers from Crate Paper's Pretty Party collection, as well as some die cut paper elements to embellish the front of my card, each piece attached with foam adhesive for a tiny bit of dimension.
The edges of my pattern paper are lightly inked with Tim Holtz distress ink coordinating colors.
I added some Sheer White Ribbon and Twisted Lime Trendy Twine from My Craft Spot, tied in a bow with a pink button to finish it off.
Thanks for stopping by! Hope you are having a wonderful day!

My Craft Spot - Hot Summer Colors Challenge!

I hope everyone is able to enjoy summer wherever they are - and that it isn't too hot! But, it is perfect timing to celebrate summer, and the new challenge over at My Craft Spot is Hot Summer Colors!!! I hope you'll come join the fun with us! Here is my project:
I used my Silhouette Cameo to cut the scallop frame, and the popsicles. The cut file for the popsicles is from Echo Park, and can be found in the Silhouette store (click HERE to view it if you're interested). I don't remember what cut file I used for the scallop background...sorry about that!
All the pattern paper is from Echo Park - the yellow, pink, and blue is from the Dots and Stripes Fountain 6x6 paper pad, and the striped background is from an older 6x6 paper pad, Summer Days.
I used kraft paper to cut the popsicle sticks - isn't it perfect for that?
I then used three different kinds of twine to get the colors I wanted: Divine Twine in Lemon Divine, Trendy Twine in Strawberry Cupcake, and Twinery Twine in Caribbean. I tied on some cute tags that were stamped using the Tiny Tags stamp set from My Craft Spot. Here is a close up of each tag:

I wrapped some hand dyed crinkle ribbon from My Craft Spot in Sunshine Yellow, Hot Pink, and Caribbean to wrap around the background pattern paper.
I then attached the popsicles with foam adhesive, and then attached the scallop frame to the card base with foam adhesive.
Well, that's it! Sorry for so many pictures! Hope to see you join in the fun with us this week! Head over to My Craft Spot to check out all the details - as well as the prize up for grabs this week!

Some more Peachy Keen sneaks!

So...this is the card that was actually posted on the Peachy Keen blog yesterday for the sneak peeks...I thought it would be one of the other two I made, so I posted those yesterday! Anyway...wanted to post this one and all the details as well! I seriously can't wait for you all to see the new release tomorrow! This month's release is SOOOO cute!
For this, I used the cute little frog from the kit, and made one with the girl face, and one with the boy face. Colored them with Copics and cut them out - and just had to make them hold hands!
The red doily was just a white doily that I covered with some Tim Holtz distress ink to color it red. The background paper is from an older Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad.
The first part of the sentiment is from the new kit, and the Happy Anniversary came from the April Kit of the month.
Added some lace from Ribbon Carousel, and some Trendy Twine from My Craft Spot.
Finished off with a tiny button from Papertrey Ink.
Thanks for stopping by again - have a wonderful day!

My Craft Spot Challenge - Buttons and Bows

Good morning! It's my week to share some Design Team Inspiration for this weeks challenge over at My Craft Spot - this week it's all about Buttons and Bows! Here is what I made:
I used my Cricut and Everyday Pop-up Cards cartridge to make the flowers and pots - using some cardstock, and pattern paper from a Simple Stories 6x6 paper pad.
I ran my flower pots through my Cuttlebug using a Papertrey Ink Impression Plate (Linen) for a bit of fun texture. Tied some Trendy Twine from My Craft Spot around each of the pots. I love the pink and brown twine! Also added some Papertrey Ink buttons to the center of the flowers.
The sentiment came from the Sweet Sentiment Set #2, and I inked the edges of the main layer of cardstock with some Tim Holtz distress ink. I also tucked a bit of Milk Chocolate crinkle ribbon behind the flower pots.
Hope you will hop over to My Craft Spot and join in by linking up your own creation with buttons and bows! Can't wait to see what you make!

MFT Getting Sketchy #72 - Birthday Hugs and Kisses

Good morning! Well...the last week or two has been pretty eventful, and I haven't had much time to craft! Sorry I've been gone so much! I just found out for sure yesterday that we will be moving from Washington State to Wyoming sometime this summer! It is by far the scariest thing I have ever done, but it is exciting in a lot of ways too. Words cannot express how much I will miss our close knit family and friends...but I am grateful that it is only a 16 hour drive away, so hopefully visits will be frequent! So, not sure exactly how this is all going to take place, but things might be a little crazy around here for a while. I also might be doing some purging giveaways too!

Anyway - I did manage to get a card quickly put together this morning for this weeks My Favorite Things Getting Sketchy #72. Here is what I made:
And here is the sketch:

I took a few more liberties with the sketch than I usually do - but I think it is close enough! All the papers are from an older Basic Grey 6x6 paper pad, and I inked all the edges with Tim Holtz distress ink in Victorian Velvet.
I stamped one of my Pure Innocence Stamps on the most solid and plain of the pattern paper, then added some pink on the cheeks and a little bit of blue outline around the edges with my Copic Markers.
The sentiment is from My Craft Spot stamps - Birthday Wishes.
Then I couldn't resist! I added a bow along the bottom using some ribbon and twine from My Craft Spot as well! The yellow crinkle ribbon is Sunshine Yellow, and the twine is Trendy Twine Strawberry Cupcake
Hope you enjoy my bright and fun card today - and have a WONDERFUL day!!!
