Tropical Sparkly Feathers - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I've got a card to share that has a bright, tropical color palette, and some fun glittery accents! I'm using supplies from Simon Says Stamp - and I'm also sharing a reel on Instagram today showing this technique in action! You can check out my page HERE if you want to see it!

For this card, I started off by die cutting the Engraved Feather die 3 times from white cardstock, then ink blending each one with a different color of ink - Surf, Grapefruit, and Fairway. I used the leftover ink on those brushes to add a soft ombre background to my cardbase with the Wonky Chevrons stencil. Then, before removing the stencil, I added some sparkle with Stickles Moon Dust Glitter Gel. I also swiped some of that on one side of each of the feathers for added sparkle! Once all that dried, I layered the feathers on the cardbase with foam adhesive, trimmed off any overhanging bits, and added some Metallic Silver Cord wrapped and tied around. Sentiment is from Just a Note stamp set, stamped in black ink at the bottom of the card. Here are more photos of this finished card:

Stay Cozy Friend - Simon Says Stamp December Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the newest December 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Warmest Wishes! This month's kit is so cozy! I have a thing for Scandinavian design - this set totally nails it! The included stamp set by the same name features some festive images and sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There is a fun embossing folder, cute ink cubes, color blend cardstock panels, glitter embossing powder...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

For this card, I opened up the fun blend of ink cubes in the kit, and swiped them across the cardstock in a very abstract zig zag pattern - I was just playing with the inks to begin with, but then I loved how it turned out, and decided to use it on my card! I stamped the mittens in crisp black ink on top, then used a thin line sharpie to draw a little string connecting them - simple, but fun touch! I stamped the sentiments, then trimmed the panel down, and added a couple torn edge pieces of white cardstock on the top and bottom for texture. Added some twine, then popped that panel up with foam on a kraft cardbase. Finished off with a bit of Blizzard Nuvo Glitter Drops for a touch of sparkle! Here are more photos of this card:

Rainbow Hearts - Simon Says Stamp October Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the newest October 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Simple Leaves! This month's kit has a fun leafy feel to it! The included stamp set by the same name features some beautiful leaf outlines and solid stamps to fill them in, as well as some sweet tiny sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There are some rub-ons included, a fun 3D embossing folder, specialty paper, a sparkly embellishment mix...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

I decided to create something a bit outside the box for my card! I used the solid stamp designed to fill in one of the leaf designs - but I saw the heart immediately, and knew I had to go for it! I stamped it in a rainbow of Pawsitively Saturated inks on white cardstock, then die cut with the coordinating die. Since the die had the stem attached, I just carefully fussy cut that tiny bit off - easy peasy! I then added stamped sentiments on a couple of them, and used some of the smaller leaf outlines to add some details. For the background, I used the 3D embossing folder in the kit on white cardstock, trimmed it slightly smaller than my cardbase, and adhered it with the debossed side up for some fun texture. I popped the hearts up with foam adhesive in a cascading pattern along one side. I finished off with some Sparkly Stickles on some of the leaf elements, and some Clear Dazzling Gems (not the colors in the kit - just the plain ones) for some added sparkle. Here are more photos of this card:

Pumpkin Spice Vibes - Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember Release

Good morning! It's time for the yearly STAMPtember Party with Simon Says Stamp with lots of crafters participating in a huge celebration. Stamptember is a month to celebrate all things stamping! It kicks off with a HUGE SSS release, and this fun party of inspiration today - with a scavenger hunt for some great promos as well! You can check out the starting post on the SSS Blog today HERE!

There are different sales throughout the blog party, so hop along to choose which one you want to use! I'm sharing this one for the gorgeous Dream Big die - FREE with any purchase! Use code DRMB to take advantage of this through Sunday, September 3 at 11:59 PM!

I'm sharing a few cards today using the adorable Pumpkin Spice Vibes stamp set, and some of the new mini ink cubes! These first two cards - and then I have one more further down if you keep scrolling! For these first two, I used some of the new ink cube sets to add simple sketchy swipes of color across the front of some panels, and then used those to stamp my images on top of, and sentiments underneath. I trimmed those panels down slightly, rounded one corner, and mounted on white cardbases with the same corner rounded off. I finished these off by adding some Stickles to part of the images, and adding a sprinkle of Clear Gems with Gold Dust for a tiny touch of sparkle. Here are more photos of these two cards:

And here is one bonus card I created with the same set, and using some more of those same ink pads. I added swipes of color around the outer edges of a white cardbase, then just stamped some of the tiny images from the same Pumpkin Spice Vibes stamp set around the edges to create a fun sketchy border. I stamped a sentiment in the middle using another new set from the release - Give Thanks and Eat Pie stamp set. This card was quick and simple, but still very fun! Here are a couple more photos of this one:

Beach Encouragement Card - Simon Says Stamp Sunny Vibes Release

Hello! Stopping by today to share another card using the NEW Sunny Vibes release from Simon Says Stamp! This time I'm sharing a fun, summery, beach card!

I used the new Beachcombing layering stamp set in soft tones. There are coordinating dies, but since I didn't have those, I just fussy cut out the images. I created a background by swiping a blue ink pad directly across my cardbase, then added texture by stenciling over the top in soft green using the new Wonky Chevron stencil, then adding some gold splatters with my starry colors palette. I then arranged the shells over the top, curling up the edges, and adhering with a mix of liquid glue and foam adhesive. I added a sentiment from the new Bad Day Good Vibes stamp set, using two tones of brown ink for an ombre effect on the stamping, and black ink for the smaller sentiments. Finished off with some sparkly Stickles over part of the images, a rounded corner, and a few soft green clear drops to finish off! Here are more photos of the finished card:

Sweet Birthday Macarons - Simon Says Stamp June Card Kit

Hello! I'm popping in to share my first card using the newest June 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit -  Sweet Birthday! This month's kit has some fantastic sweet birthday images and sentiments! The included stamp set by the same name features cupcakes and macarons and lots of fun sentiments. There is also a coordinating die, fun embossing folder, lovely pattern paper, birthday sentiment die...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelope, and more!

The monthly card kit has even more perks now when you sign up for the new Subscription service! There is a video HERE you can watch to learn more!

After some time I've been fortunate to visit Paris, I absolutely adore macarons! So when I saw that image on the stamp set, I knew that would be the first thing I would feature on a card! I stamped them on some of the lovely Pinkfresh Picture Perfect pattern paper in the kit, using some of the smaller and more simple patterns. I then cut each one out with the coordinating dies, and chose some more coordinating paper to add to the side of my cardbase, before stacking up the macarons along the side. I stamped a simple sentiment from the stamp set, added some sparkly Stickles along the center of each macaron, and then finished off with a few Iridescent Clear Drops for added sparkle. Here are more photos of this card:
