Layered Butterflies - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

Good morning! Today I'm joining a fun Instagram Hop with Pinkfresh Studio to celebrate the brand new Release from earlier this week. You can check that hop out HERE - there are lots of fun prizes, so don't miss stopping by! These are also the cards I created earlier this week on YouTube Live as a sneak peek of the release that happened yesterday -  you can check them out HERE if you want to see them come to life!

I think the two new items I used for these cards have already sold out - they absolutely FLEW out the door - setting records for fast sell out! And I'm not surprised - they are basically genius designs, and help make cardmaking even more effortless and fun! To start with - these gorgeous butterflies come in a one piece coordinating Stamp set, Layering Stencils, and coordinating Dies. I used a soft set of primary ink colors, so they blended in the middle to create the full rainbow spectrum - so fun! And Stargazer ink to stamp the butterfly details over the top is the PERFECT finishing touch!

And those hot foiled sentiments? Yep...that is a set with a one piece Stamp set, Hot Foil, and coordinating die - so you can stamp or hot foil all the sentiments at once, then cut them out in one pass through your die cut machine! Brilliant - and SOOO fun to do!

I used some soft cardstock colors, and layered Essentials Ornate Banner on one card, and Essentials: Diagonal Stripes with a Window on the other. This added a fun layer and base for these butterflies.

Finished off with a few sparkly Essentials: Crystals and Essentials: Jewels - and the supporting sentiments stamped in that same Stargazer ink!

Don't forget, there is also a shipping promo - FREE US Shipping with $50 purchase, or discounted shipping for our international friends. Details and coupon codes are on this graphic:

Additionally, there is a sale still going for our full size ink pads - 30% off, which is a FABULOUS deal! This sale ends Sunday, so grab those quickly if you are interested. You can only use one promo code - but if you choose to use the ink pad promo, you can still get free US shipping if your order is over $100, which would probably be fairly easy! :)

Birthday Balloons Mini Slimline Trio - Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle Release Blog Hop

Good morning! Excited today to be joining in on Day 2 of an incredible blog hop to celebrate the BRAND NEW Born to Sparkle Release from Simon Says Stamp! Make sure and check out all the inspiration with this new release AND link up your creations as you receive your orders HERE in the Gallery created just for this release! And check out the graphic below to receive a FREE Island Crush ink cube set with the coupon code below through May 2, 2021 as well - while supplies last (code expires at 11:59 PM EDT)!!!

Apparently I'm enjoying mini slimline cards lately - didn't realize until I was writing this post that the last Simon Says Stamp blog hop was when I posted my first mini slimline cards! Today I've created a trio of these fun size cards using the brand new Party Balloons cling background stamp!

For each of these cards, I started off by stamping and heat embossing in gold on strips of Strathmore watercolor paper

Then I went crazy with my Daniel Smith watercolors and did some messy monochromatic watercoloring, mixing different tones of each color combo together on the backgrounds, and adding deeper shading on the balloons. Simple messy fun!

Once those backgrounds dried, I added to the loose messy feel, and added some gold splatters with my Starry Colors palette, and some white paint splatters for good measure as well.

Sentiments are pre-printed Reverse Sentiments Strips All Things Happy - perfect for this trio of birthday theme cards!

If you need some birthday cards to add to your stash - or any kind of celebration for that matter! - this stamp set is perfect for so many different techniques! It would also be fabulous for some relaxing Copic coloring, emboss resist ink blending, or just stamping over a blended background or pattern paper!

Pinkfresh Studio April 2021 Stamp, Stencil, Die, and Hot Foil Release

Good morning! Today is an amazing blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's April 2021 Stamp, Stencil, Die, and Hot Foil Release! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY!

As always, there is also a shipping promo - FREE US Shipping with $50 purchase, or discounted shipping for our international friends.

We ended up with a tighter time frame to work with the new release, so I have fewer cards to share today than I normally do for a release. But don't worry - I promise I will be using these new products lots in the weeks to come!

For this first card, I used the new slimline Heartfelt Thanks stamp set with coordinating stencils - so pretty!

This time, I started off by stamping the florals and gold heat embossing on white cardstock, then I stenciled the color on using a combination of Coral Reef, Peach Fuzz, Apricot, and Passion Fruit for the florals, and Mint and Meadow for the leaves.

I die cut the panel with Essentials: Slim Stitched Rectangles dies, and mounted with foam on a coordinating soft peach colored card base.

I added the gorgeous new sentiment die - Lots of Love, die cut from gold cardstock, and layered over the shadow die cut from white, and added the stamped sentiment from the stamp set underneath - stamped in Detail Black in on a strip of white cardstock.

Finished off with a few coordinating Essentials: Crystals for the final sparkle!

Next up, I'm switching gears from the peach and coral tones, to soft creamy yellows!

For this card I used the coordinating It's a New Day Florals stencils in Lemon Whip, Sweet Mustard, Ocean Breeze, and Aquamarine, then heat embossed the It's a New Day Florals stamp set (which is all in one piece!) in white over the top of it. Such a soft and dreamy effect!

Next, I die cut all those lovely florals, with the Coordinating dies - that are also all in one piece to make it easy to die cut everything at once! I also die cut and trimmed down a few of the new Leafy Branch dies and tucked those around the florals when I arranged them on my Cream colored cardbase.

And another clever thing - I used a sentiment from the new Celebrating You Hot Foil plates. These hot foil plates are all once piece that foil several sentiments all at the same time - and have a coordinating die to cut them all out at the same time! There is also a matching stamp set if you aren't ready to jump into hot foiling - so you can get a similar look with heat embossing. But hot foiling has my heart...so I'm a bit addicted! :)

A few coordinating sparkly Essentials: Jewels finish this card off!

And finally - a set that I think will be a favorite from this release - the Butterflies stamp, stencil, and die combo!

For this card, I started off with the stencils, and used Grassy Knoll, Aquamarine, Seaside, and Tidal Pond to stencil the layers. I then stamped with the coordinating stamp set, and die cut with the coordinating dies. I still have the other butterfly set aside to use on another card later. I also used this set on YouTube live earlier this week (you can see this stamp set in action HERE if you are interested) and will be sharing those finished cards tomorrow. :)

I die cut the background with Stitches die, and mounted it with foam adhesive on the dark teal cardbase.

I added the butterfly, using foam adhesive only toward the center of the butterfly, leaving the edges a little more free to pop up for dimension.

Sentiment from the stamp set is heat embossed in white on a bit of black cardstock, and mounted with a touch of foam over the corner of the butterfly. A few coordinating sparkly Essentials: Jewels mix finish this card off as well! Gotta have that sparkle! :)

Classy Graduation Card - Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle Release

Good morning! I'm back with another card to share with you using the BRAND NEW Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle Release ! Last night I shared some graduation cards - as I mentioned, my oldest is actually graduating this year (so crazy how fast that day arrives!) - so I was definitely in the mood to create cards for this occasion! Today I'm pairing up the fun new Cap and Gown wafer dies paired up with the awesome new Class Act stamp set!

I went with more classic and classy colors for this card - die cut the cap and gown from black cardstock, and popped it up on a panel of white. I added the sentiment down the side of the card, heat embossing the secondary part in gold on black cardstock.

A few banners - one from gold glitter cardstock in the top right corner finish off the front panel! Then I just mounted with foam over some dotted black cardstock from Memory Box, and mounted on an Ivory cardbase - hard to see in the photo, but it adds a touch of interest from the white on the card front!

This release is amazing - there are so many fun things to check out! Click HERE to check out the release, and check back on Thursday and Friday (my day!) for the epic blog hop to celebrate! Happy Shopping!

Congrats Grad Trio - Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle Release

Hello! Popping by this evening with a few first cards to share with you using the BRAND NEW Simon Says Stamp Born to Sparkle Release ! I'm starting off with a set of a few graduation cards - right on time for the season! My oldest is actually graduating this year (so crazy how fast that day arrives!) - so I was definitely in the mood to create a few of these cards using the awesome new Class Act stamp set!

I traditionally think of black graduation robes most often - but thought it would be fun to shake up the colors a bit, and do some different color combos. I stamped these three cards using Schoolhouse Red, Blue Jay, and Hot Mama inks from Simon Says Stamp.

For each of these, I stamped the sentiments over the top in black, and then heat embossed the diploma in white on black, fussy cut out, and adhered on my card front.

I also added a few splatters of black with my Pinkfresh Studio Licorice Liquid watercolors, then matted those panels with gold cardstock, and then black cardstock.

Before mounting with foam on my cardbases, I added some thin strips of black cardstock, just to give some interest and dimension to the backgrounds. I used different angles on each card as well for a bit of variety!

This release is amazing - there are so many fun things to check out! Click HERE to check out the release, and check back on Thursday and Friday (my day!) for the epic blog hop to celebrate! Happy Shopping!
