Reverse Confetti - Crazy For Christmas - Decor and More

Good morning! This week Reverse Confetti is doing a fun little event called Crazy for Christmas, to help get you in the mood and inspired for your holiday crafting! Each day is a different theme, and today we are focusing on Decor! I decorated a couple of fun little acrylic ornaments that I found at my local Michael's store:

Here is the info! Make sure and check out all 3 days to see all the ideas!

For this first one, I used Jingle All the Way Confetti Cuts to die cut a piece of Masking Paper to create a stencil. I carefully adhered just the "Jingle" word to my ornament, then used Gold Glitter Paste to add the word to my ornament, and carefully peeled off the stencil and allowed it to dry before filling with a few gold and silver jingle bells.

The second ornament I die cut a whole PILE of snowflakes using Snowflake Trio Die, carefully fit them in the ornament opening and then flatted them out inside with my finger before adding some silver tinsel glitter to add to the sparkly fun.

Here are the Reverse Confetti products I used on these ornaments - click on the picture if you want to learn more about either of these items!

Here is the list of everyone participating today - so you can check out all the fun and creative projects out there!

Product links (or similar equivalents) are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!

Rain Won't Last Forever

Good morning! Happy Sunday to everyone! Thought I would stop by and quickly share another card and Quick Tip video I made a while ago for Unity Stamp Company. I love simple ways to add sparkle and shine to cards - Glossy Accents and glitter are two of my favorite crafty tools! :)

Here is that video:

Here is a closer look at the sparkle that is hard to capture in a photograph:

I also love using a small image repeatedly to create a background - no fussing with finding matching pattern paper - just make your own!

Here are links to the products I used - or as close as I could get. This including affiliate links where possible.  That is actually a different brand of glitter, but looks essentially the same. Thanks for dropping by - have a wonderful day!

Unity Hop - Thank You Very Moose!

Good evening!!! Tonight is another fun release night and hop with Unity Stamps - so many fun new releases to fall in love with! There was so much stuff to get ready, that instead of the normal Tuesday hop this week, we had to postpone a couple days until tonight. I promise it was worth it though! Wait until you see what everyone else has been working on! This is one AMAZING team!

I have made several cards with the new releases, and a few more Quick Tip videos - but had to start off by sharing this CUTE little moose! I have always loved moose, and loved how often we got to see them when we lived in Wyoming. Have definitely missed seeing them since we moved! Here is my card with this fun new release:

Here is the Quick Tip video - sharing how I created "snow" using Glossy Accents and Tinsel Glitter - love the sparkle!

I colored him with Copics, used Lil' Inker's Border Builder's Die Set to cut a fun edge on the bottom, the punched a couple holes to tie some twine on, before attaching the entire panel over some Basic Grey pattern paper with foam adhesive. I also added Glossy Accents to his eyes! LOVE!

Here is this new release - Very Merry Christmoose:

And of course in addition to all these fun releases, there are some great sales going on this weekend - make sure and check them all out, along with the new releases!

Here is this weeks giveaway - leave some love along the hop, and link up your own Unity creation for a chance to win:

Here is the rest of the links for the Design Team - make sure and visit everyone to see the new stamps in action - and don't forget that tonight is the new "Friends with Flair" - so make sure and link up along with us! Can't wait to see what you make!!!

Lil' Inker's 5th Birthday Challenge, Mini Release, and Sale

Hello! It's time for a new Monthly Meetup Challenge at Lil' Inkers Designs - this month celebrating Lil' Inkers 5th Birthday! There is a fun sale, and a new little mini release as well!

The prize is pretty amazing, as always, so I hope you will join in and play along with us!

I made a fun shaker card with the darling new stamps and dies:

Check out the fun little mini release:

I also used Stitched Mats: Ovals to create my window element - with some of the Lil' Inker Ombre Chevrons pattern paper tucked behind.

I filled my shaker with assorted seed beads and sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and also tossed in some Martha Stewart tinsel glitter. So sparkly and fun - you can see it very well in this picture:

Thanks so much for stopping by! I hope you will join in and play along with the challenge - can't wait to see what you create! :)

Love Machine

Hello again! Happy Valentine's Day! Thought I would pop in with a cute little Valentine's Card today - especially since it happens to be Valentine's Day!

I actually made this just an hour or so ago - wanted to play along with the fun challenge to post a love theme card at Paper Smooches - and also break out a cute stamp set I have been wanting to play along with! There's a gift certificate up for grabs too!

I also thought it would make a fun shaker card - so thought I would play along with Virginia's View Challenge again as well:

I used the darling Squeaky Clean set from Paper Smooches, as well as Ovals 1 Dies to make my center cut out. I added some tiny clear sequins from Pretty Pink Posh, and some tinsel glitter - LOVE how it almost looks soapy! Somehow, one tiny gold confetti managed to sneak in there - oops!

My pattern paper is from American Crafts, and I also added some red baker's twine - as well as an outline with a black pen.

I'll be back one more time! Thanks for stopping by!

MCS January Release - Day 4

Good morning! Welcome back - it's already Day 4 of sneak peeks for the newest release at My Craft Spot! Today we get to share peeks of a new set called Stamping All Around Spring 2 - which coordinates with the Tiny Doily Dies. Here is what I made:

I am so excited at how these turned out! I don't know if you can tell or not - but there are GIANT Hershey Kisses! I got them for a project a while back, and hadn't used them - and my daughters have been pleading with me mercilessly to be allowed to eat them! Now...they might get their wish! :-)

I started off with some tags cut with my Silhouette Cameo, and added a layer of embossing paste with a MFT stencil. I immediately sprinkled on some Martha Stewart silver tinsel glitter. Not very much of it stuck - but I love the glittery effect it gave anyway!

Next I cut the Tiny Doilies, and stamped and heat embossed the XOXO circle from the new stamp set with silver Zing embossing powder. Now, I cut the smaller circle, because I wanted all of my pretty doily edges to show, but that didn't leave much room for the circle border to stamp. I kind of like it going off the edge a little anyway though - so I'm okay with that! But they really do fit right if you use the normal circle!

I added the "kiss" stamp, and "love" from the new stamp set, then added a bit of bling before attaching it to my tag.

Finally, I used some Denim Twinery Twine and Ivory Jute Twine to attach the tags to my giant Kisses! Such a fun and simple gift!

Make sure and head over to My Craft Spot to see what the rest of the Design Team has put together - and leave a comment for a chance at today's giveaway:

See you back here tomorrow for more sneak peeks! Have a great day!!!
