Runway Inspired - Kindness makes a Difference

Hello! Back again today with a card for the brand new Runway Inspired challenge!

Here is our new challenge inspiration photo:

Just couldn't help seeing watercolors on this one - so I used some Altenew flower stamps, heat embossed in white on watercolor paper, did some messy watercoloring, and then fussy cut them out. Added a Pretty Pink Posh frame and a couple sequins, a heat embossed sentiment, and those flowers attached with some glue in the centers so they pop up nice and lovely!

I wanted to use the inspiration to make a more wintery/Christmas card - so I went with snowflakes on a blue background! Not a color combo I would have naturally used with snowflakes, so it was fun to see where an inspiration photo can take you! All supplies are linked below.

Runway Inspired - Wishing you Wonderful

Hello! Back again today with a card for the brand new Runway Inspired challenge! I had fun with this card that I made:

Here is our new challenge info - so simple and elegant!

I went very clean and simple for my card - I used the lace edge stamp from the Unity January 2015 Kit of the Month, heat embossed in white on some soft gray Simon Says Stamp Cardstock. Love how realistic the lace looks - so pretty! I stamped the circle and sentiment from Everything Wonderful on another piece in black Versafine ink, heat embossed with clear powder, then fussy cut to adhere over the twine bow.

Runway Inspired - Treasure

Hello! Back again today with a card for the brand new Runway Inspired challenge!

Here is our amazing inspiration this time around:

Here is my interpretation:

I started off with Winnie and Walter's "True" stamp set. Stamped the heart and colored it with Copics to match the inspiration piece, then stamped the sentiment over the top and heat embossed in black. Added a wavy border on the bottom using Lil' Inker's Border Builder's Die Set, and added some black cardstock underneath. Finished off with some Pretty Pink Posh Clear Sequins!

Runway Inspired - Birthday Cupcake

Hello! Back again today with a card for the brand new Runway Inspired challenge, sponsored by Fishscraps - a fun digital Etsy Shop. The DT has all used digital art from the store for our projects today! 

Here is our inspiration for this week:

I used the fun Birthday Cupcake Line Art for my card - printed one on watercolor paper, and colored in with Zig Clean Color Brush Pens:

LOVE all the sweet layers to the top of the cupcake on this one! Added some pattern paper, and a strip of dark gray cardstock - pulled from the inspiration photo. Finished off with a sentiment from Altenew's Birthday Greetings.

Hello! Back again today with a card for the brand new Runway Inspired challenge - here is our lovely inspiration for this time around:

I started by heat embossing the Unity Tea Time Pattern Background in white on watercolor paper. I used some soft lavender MFT dye ink to create the center, then layered over some vellum and a glitter die cut "congrats" using Winnie and Walter's The Big, the Bold, and the You Cutaways. Finished off with a bit of bling from my stash, and some soft gray cardstock.

Hello There - Runway Inspired

Hello! Back again today with a card for the brand new Runway Inspired challenge - here is the inspiration for this time around:

I used some Lil' Inker Designs stamps and dies to put my card together. In hindsight, I wish I had masked between each color for a cleaner line, instead of blending it together. That green between the blue and yellow is driving me nuts! But with an upcoming trip, I just didn't have the time to fix it!

I stamped my patter using Really Rosemaling Stamp set, then die cut the panel with Dual Dotted Rectangle Dies. Blended MFT dye inks with a blending tool, stamped the sentiment on vellum and heat embossed, then folded it around. Added a few angled strips of cardstock behind, then mounted with foam adhesive on a white woodgrain cardbase.
