Foxy You and Me

A little more catch-up this morning! This is actually a card I made for a magazine submission call that was never picked up. So - I get to share it here today! This one is fun in the sense that I didn't use any stamps on it - just elements from a Project Life kit and some pattern paper!

I have so loved the fox trend, and this is one of my favorite cards from a Project Life kit I have been using for a while. I pretty much used two of the same cards for this, and fussy cut out the foxes to adhere with foam adhesive. I trimmed the sentiment underneath into a banner shape and adhered that with foam adhesive as well. Added some Glossy Accents to the eyes and the bow tie, and some Stickles to the hair bow. Trimmed some MME pattern paper that matched well, cutting a zig zag border on one side with a My Craft Spot die, then added some jute twine tied in a bow. Lots of foam adhesive and dimension on this card for sure!

Newton's Nook Designs Holiday Release - Day 1

Good morning! I'm super excited this month to be guest designing for Newton's Nook Designs - and this week I have the privilege of joining in with the new release! I am in love with all the darling images - and have been super impressed with the great quality. They stamp crisp and perfect every time!

For today's card, I got to play with the new set called Winston's Home for Christmas:

I used the small present to stamp in kraft ink on my kraft card base - gives a subtle pattern paper effect! Then I layered together a couple of journaling cards, stamped the adorable image and sentiment with MFT inks, and added some random machine stitching to hold them all in place. LOVE that this is a flat one layer and easy to mail card - and would be super easy to mass produce as well!

Here is the entire stamp set - SOOOO cute!

Would you like to win “Winston’s Home for Christmas”?

Avocado Arts October new stamp set

Good morning! I'm up on the Avocado Arts blog this morning to share a few cards with you using the new stamp set for October - a darling mix of winter and thankfulness!!!

The first image that caught my eye was that cup - my hubby is a big coffee lover, so I knew I had to start with that one! I thought it would be fun to use watercolors with it.

I cut a scallop square of watercolor paper using a Wplus9 die, heat embossed my sentiment, then washed over it with watercolor paint. Added a twist of jute twine, then mounted with foam adhesive on a kraft card base that I used a background die from Lil' Inker's on.

Next, I love the cute snowman - he looks like he was made of popsicle sticks, doesn't he?

I heat embossed him on white on a red tag I die cut with a Mama Elephant die, then added my sentiment from Wishes and Kind Thoughts:

I used some pattern paper from Crate Paper for my background, and added some machine stitching around the edges - it's a little hard to see, but it adds so much to the card! To soften the pattern paper a little, I took a piece of vellum and tore the edges, then used a stencil from Simon Says Stamp to apply embossing paste. Love how it kind of looks like snow!

And finally - that turkey just couldn't be any cuter!!!

For this one, I stamped him on a PL journaling card, added some spray mist from Mister Huey's and Heidi Swapp, and a wrap of yellow jute twine. Used some woodgrain MME paper for the background, then to add a little texture I used another stencil and some embossing paste tinted with Gelatos. Once it dried a bit, I also added a bit of the same gold spray mist.

Thanks so much for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

MCS June Release - Day 5

Good morning again! Today is the 5th and final day of sneak peeks for the new release at My Craft Spot! There are prizes each day - and tons of beautiful sneaks by the design team - so make sure and stop by My Craft Spot and check it all out!

Today's set is super fun! It is called Build a Birthday Stamp Set - and it is perfect for just what it's name suggests! I pulled out some extra Project Life cards and made a quick and easy set of birthday cards:

I simply matted them in some cream cardstock after stamping my sentiments, added some coordinating background paper, and a bow with some Natural Jute String.

Here are close ups of each of them

I love how easy these were to put together - and what a fun set they make! Looks like it took a lot of work - but was so fun and easy!

Here is the prize that Kimberly is giving away today over at My Craft Spot:

I am also linking this up with the Photo Pocket Page Challenge in the Moxie Fab World.

Thanks so much for stopping by again! Have a wonderful day - make sure and stop by tomorrow for the new release hop! There will be a prize at each stop along the hop!!!

Me and You...

Hello! One final post for this year - sharing a card for the current Avery Elle Challenge:

This time around it is a sketch challenge:

I found this sketch pretty challenging for some reason! Actually started a few times, and threw away a few partly finished cards before finishing and being happy with this one. I used some Avery Elle Woodgrain cardstock for my cardbase, a bit of Crate Paper, and a Project Life card for the center panel.

I used Avery Elle's Handwritten Notes Stamp Set, stamped in PTI and Hero Arts Inks. Added some glitter washi tape, a chipboard element from Crate Paper, and finished off with some Avery Elle Winter Blend sequins.

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a super safe and fun New Years Eve!!!
