Good morning! I really love using Glossy Accents on cards - I think it adds such an amazingly dimensional accent, but is still flat and easy to tuck in an envelope and mail. I also love watercolors! :)
Here is a Quick Tip video sharing my watercoloring on these - I added the Glossy Accents after I finished filming, but that is pretty self-explanatory!
I used some Mama Elephant dies, and some pattern paper layers to help it pop.
This stamp set is such a fun image - and I really love that sentiment as well!

I kind of LOVE pattern paper. Really - I'm pretty sure I collect it, especially those cute little 6x6 paper pads. Can't get enough of them! So I learned quite some time ago that it does no good to hoard them, because then I'm pretty sure they would grow strong enough in numbers to attack me in my sleep to gain their independence. Well, probably not, but the basket does get a bit unruly and have to be purged if I don't use it! So...sometimes I love to make a card and put a bunch of layers of that wonderful paper all on one card - like this one!
I made a Quick Tip video for this one - showing my process for making it look so dimensional, but without layers and layers of foam adhesive.
Sometimes when I do all these layers of pattern paper, I like to just keep the image plain black and white so that all the patterns and colors don't get too overwhelming - that worked perfectly on this card!
I also love tiny little touches...like scraps of doilies, tiny paper clips, and bits of jute twine - they all make me happy, so I tuck them in whenever possible!

Good morning! I'm stopping by today with a card and technique that I discovered QUITE by accident! Haha! I was filming Quick Tip videos, and came across this paint, and thought - why not? Sure happy I tried it - I really love the finished effect, and will definitely be playing with it more!
Here is that video - only a minute and a half long, and the best way to see what I did on this card - so easy - I promise!
