Floral Vellum Ephemera - Pinkfresh and SB dot com Exclusive

Good morning! Dropping by to share a card using some Pinkfresh Studio supplies - including the special new Floral Vellum Ephemera set that was is currently available exclusively at Scrapbook.com - and is available today as a free gift with any purchase for the next couple of days, or while supplies last! You can click HERE for more details! There are also some other promos going on - you can check all those out HERE

For this card, I started off by creating a window for my florals using Ornate Circle die, cut from Ivory glitter cardstock. I mounted that with foam on my white cardbase, and then tucked those lovely vellum florals into the base, adhering with tiny dots of liquid glue. I added a sentiment over the bottom from Basic Banners: Celebrate, heat embossed in gold, then finished off with a few coordinating Clear Drops in Amber, Blush, and Sky Blue! Sunny Days Ahead - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Stopping by today to share a birthday card I made for my daughter's 21st birthday this past weekend - as usual, I was working on it fairly last minute. We recently visited Disneyworld, and one of her favorite Disney movies is Tangled. I didn't have all the right things to make it more accurate, but I pulled out a fun set from Simon Says Stamp to create a sunny background, and I think it worked great!

I used the fun Hello Sunshine set to stamp out a sunny background. I used Zest ink to stamp the centers, and Honey to stamp the outline. I also added the overlaid tiny heart in Honey for a tone on tone soft effect. I trimmed the panel down, and ink blended around the edges a bit with Butter ink, then smooshed some more Honey on a clear block, picked up with a wet brush, and added a few splatters over the image. Finished off with a small sentiment from the same set, and the larger birthday sentiment from Birthday Basics stamp and die set - then, of course, a few sparkly glitter drops to embellish! Modern Celebration Card - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created earlier this week for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. I used some of the newest releases, paired up with a few previously released items. I ended up with a very modern design, which I didn't expect when I started. But I thought it was really fun how it came out! You can watch the video replay HERE if you want to see more details and watch this card come together.

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

I ink blended these in some fun non-traditional colors, and love how they came out! I used the new Cheers press plate to hot foil in matte silver foil, then turned the citrus slices into limes for a fun different look. The frames were created with the new Decorative Frames press plate, pressed in crisp black ink. I found that much like multi stamping with a MISTI, I could multi press with the black for a deeper and darker impression as well. I used two colors of ink for an ombre blended effect on the main sentiment, and finished off with a few sparkly Iridescent clear drops after the live finished! Here are more photos of this finished card:

Lattice Cherry Blossoms - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

Hello! Today I am part of a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the new Pinkfresh Studio "Happiness" Release. There are giveaways up for grabs, so hop on over to check that out if you haven't yet! I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared a few cards for that! Today I'm sharing a a fun card I created on YouTube Live last week with Lea Lawson using similar sets but in slightly different ways! You can watch that video HERE if you want to see more details!

Here is the replay of the live video if you'd like to watch it here:

I used a technique from the amazing Carissa Wiley to do letterpress on colored cardstock, tucking a piece of the cotton betterpress cardstock under the colored cardstock, so I was able to press the Beautiful Branch press plate in pink on pink cardstock for a tone on tone effect. SOOO fun! I then did the same thing to use normal cardstock for the Twist Pattern press plate. I also hot foiled the florals using the same press plate, and then ink blended in two tones for some interest and variation on the designs. I popped up the twist pattern with foam, then added the florals over the top, trimming off the edges, and tucking the leftover pieces in various places on the card front as well. Finished off with a sentiment from the coordinating stamp set, and a few tiny Clear Drops: Ice on some of the flower centers! Here are more photos of this finished card:
