Wildflower Just a Note cards - Simon Says Stamp

 Good morning! Stopping by on the last day of the month with one final set of cards using a couple of stamp sets from Simon Says Stamp - one a bit newer, and one a bit older! It was super fun stamping these layered backgrounds, then adding the lovely sentiments!

I used both of the stamps from the previously released Wildflowers stamp set for these cards. I stamped the larger image on my white cardstock panels in the softer ink colors, then stamped the shorter one over the top in a deeper shade. They layer together so pretty, don't you think? I added some of the fabulous sentiments from the more recently released Just a Note Notes stamp set, stamped in black, then popped those panels up slightly on white cardbases. Finished off with some sparkly coordinating clear drops from Pinkfresh Studio! Here are more photos of these cards:

Blue Floral Card Set - Simon Says Stamp Cheering for You Release

 Good morning! Today I'm sharing a couple more cards using a new embossing folder from the NEW Cheering for You release from Simon Says Stamp - paired with a couple of previously released items!

For these cards, I ended up loving the reverse side of the NEW Tumbling Flowers 3D embossing folder - instead of using the raised area, I used the indented area. I did it in two shades of blue this time - and I love the different effect you get between the lighter and deeper shade. I added a glittery branch cut from glitter cardstock using the previously released Winsome Branch die, and a sentiment from Flower Love stamp set, heat embossed in white on black cardstock. Finishing touch was a few coordinating ombre pearl drops in the centers of some of the flowers! Here are some photos and close ups of the texture on these cards:

Leafy You Card Set - Simon Says Stamp Cheering for You Release

 Hello! Stopping by today to share my first few cards using the NEW Cheering for You release from Simon Says Stamp! I had fun playing with a new stencil set, and pairing it with a fabulous new sentiment stamp and die combo! And I did a couple different color options for fun - which also allowed me to try more of the sentiments!

The new Monstera layering stencil set is super fun! I kind of have a thing for them anyway, so I couldn't wait to play with these. I used some packs of Pinkfresh inks to blend the layers in 3 different monochromatic colors. I think paired them up with coordinating Rainbow Splash colored cardstock for the cardbases to carry through the monochromatic theme. I added sentiments using the You die - cut from white glitter cardstock for the main layer, and vellum for the shadow layer - and added supporting sentiments from the You stamp set. Finished off with some coordinating Dazzling Gems! Here are more photos of these completed cards:

More People Like You - Simon Says Stamp August Card Kit

 Hello! I'm popping in to share my another card using the newest August 2024 Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Graceful Flowers! This month's kit has a lovely vintage floral vibe! The included stamp set by the same name features some beautiful florals, and pretty, scripty sentiments (there is also a coordinating die for this set available separately HERE). There is also some beautiful pattern paper, a fun embossing folder, flower die, ribbon, distress stain...that's all not to mention the cardstock, envelopes, and more!

For this card, I went for a twist beyond a shabby chic and modern feel - keeping the colors light and bright and airy to achieve that affect. I used the new Blossom Swag embossing folder on some of the pattern paper in the kit, then ink blended some tone on tone ink around the edges, and added some texture with a distress tool. I adhered that down on my cardbase, added the sentiment, stamped, die cut, and popped up with foam adhesive. Finished off with some Clear Drops from Pinkfresh, and a twist of jute string tied in a bow! Here are some additional photos of this card:

I loved the large floral border, and thought it would be so elegant in simple black on white on some of that pretty pattern paper. As usual, when I couldn't choose which paper to use, I just used 3 of my favorites! I stamped and die cut each flower cluster with the coordinating die (not included in the kit, but available HERE for purchase separately!), then trimmed them in half so they could come in from each side of the card, overlapping in the center. I layered them on with foam adhesive, then stamped and added the sentiments the same way. I finished each one off with some pretty Pinkfresh Clear Drops to add some sparkle! Tea with a Friend - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

 Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created earlier this week for a Pinkfresh Studio's YouTube Live. I used a variety of items that released earlier this year, and some unexpected layering and color combos! Scroll past this first photo for the video if you'd like to watch this card come together!

I used the Get Well Soon set from Pinkfresh, and while it is a fabulous set for that theme, I love that the sentiments can be changed up to give even more ways to put this set to use. For this card, I heat embossed the image and main sentiments in white on kraft cardstock, then ink blended over the top. I love the different look you get by doing this, and the crisp white lines. For the background, I used the Stippled Plaid press plate, doing it in red on pink cardstock, using a trick I learned from Carissa Wiley to help press plates work well on colored cardstock. Sentiments are from Beyond Happy and Cheers stamp sets. Some soft ribbon and a few jewels add some fun texture to this card! Here are more photos of this finished card:
