Post 1,001 - and giveaway!

Good morning! I couldn't believe it, but after I posted on Friday afternoon for Unity FWF, I realized that was my 1,000th post on this blog! WOW! I couldn't believe it! After starting this blog mostly to help my husband out on a college project, I had no idea how addicting the world of blogging would become. So...I have a GIVEAWAY at the bottom of this post to celebrate - and a card to say THANKS to all of you for hanging out with me on this journey!!!

I also made this to fit this weeks Designer Draft over at Paper Smooches SPARKS Challenge - it isn't my week to play along, but this was such a fun sketch, that I had to! I took a few liberties, but it somewhat closely follows the sketch, right? :-)  I hope you will come play along with us this week - I always love seeing all the submissions!

For this card, I used some Crate Paper pattern paper, with a bit of distress ink on the edges, and some Avery Elle kraft cardstock. I got the soft misting effect by spraying it with Mister Huey's, then blotting it off a couple of times with some plain paper. I love how it softens the look of the misting and makes it look almost transparent! I discovered it by accident the other day, and had to do it again on this card! I used Paper Smooches Notebook Basic Die and Thanks Word Die, as well as Crystal Clear stamp set for the jar, stamped and cut out of pattern paper.

The background is the new 4" Doily Die from My Craft Spot, cut out of vellum - LOVE LOVE LOVE this die!!! I also added a few Crystal Clear Sequins from Neat and Tangled.

Okay - now for the fun part - the giveaway!!! I am giving you a chance to win your choice of a stamp set from either My Craft Spot or Neat and Tangled - two of the design teams I am lucky enough to be on!

To win - simply visit My Craft Spot HERE, or Neat and Tangled HERE and tell me which set you would choose if you won!
For a bonus entry, leave two separate comments telling me your favorites from EACH place! (Don't worry...I won't hold you to your choices if you change your mind!) :-)

Good luck - and again, like this card says, thanks so much for hanging out with me in blogland!!!
