Unity Thursday Hop - Operation Write Home

Good morning! Excited to be joining in with the Unity Stamp Company Blog Hop this morning - I am privileged to be guest designing with them this month, which is why I'm so lucky as to join in on the hop today!

Today is a special hop with Operation Write Home, and there is a brand new special release of stamps - and of course, a sale!

I got to play with the new set a little and made three cards - here is the first one:

I love this sentiment! Just makes me want to stand a little straighter, hold my head a little higher, and makes my heart swell a little...so thankful for the sacrifice and bravery of all those who give so much for our freedom. I can never be grateful enough...

Next, I paired a couple of the new images with a sentiment from the December 2014 Kit of the Month - and a little watercolor of course!

Also added a few random enamel dots - I especially love those glitter stars!

And finally, this super simple one:

This flag just needed to shine on it's own - and the watercolor just helps it pop a little more!

We have an AMAZING Unity filled prize package to giveaway.  Leave a comment on EACH blog in the hop (including the Unity and Operation Write Home blogs) for your chance to win.  The winners will be announced Monday night on the Unity blog.

Thanks for stopping by! Make sure and check out what all the amazing design team has created for the hop today! :)

    1. Hi Carmen! I know glitter is a no-no, but since these are enamel dots and enclosed, I think it is okay. I will definitely check before sending them in though! Thanks!

  19. LIke the little bit of dimension on each card. And the gold glitter enamel is a great way to get glitter on a card without putting our soldiers in danger. Well played.
