Good morning! Super excited to be sharing some cards this week with the BRAND NEW
Winnie and Walter Release - it is one HUGE release - packed with beautiful stamps and dies, many of which have a baby theme that is timeless! All new releases will be available on the 3rd of February!
One of my VERY favorite items from the new release is this fabulous In A Word: Precious Script Cutaway - paired up on this card with the fun new addition to the big and the bold line - The Big, the Bold, and the Baby:
I made this for a friend that recently had twins - one boy, one girl - thought this was perfect! I made a quick watercolor wash on the background with matching splatters, die cut the "precious" word 3 times and layered it together to make it nice and thick (and used an enamel dot for the dot on the i, since I didn't want to try to glue 3 of those together - haha!) - then added some washi tape and sparkly clear Pretty Pink Posh sequins before machine stitching around the edges for a soft finish.
For my second card today, I combined the new stamp set Scenery: Stripes 2 with another fabulous word die cut - In A Word: Congrats Cutaway:
I stamped the chevron pattern in alternating inks - switching the direction each time. Such a fun way to build your own custom patterns! Die cut out the word congrats, then layered together another cut with foam tape, and one with white cardstock, and layered them together, inset in the negative space and leaving the openings of the words showing through.
And finally, I almost threw away the word I die cut out of the last card, but as it sat on my desk, I realized it would be fun on a card too!
Super simple and quick - and another easy way to not waste any leftovers! Some black splatters on the cardbase - then added the die cut word! Super versatile and can be used for any kind of congratulations!
