Monochromatic Floral Frame Thanks - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! Finishing out the month with one more card, and I think it's one of my favorites! It took me a little while to get it all where I was happy with it, but in the end, I love how it turned out! I used a few items from the newest release at Simon Says Stamp - and feel like I channeled my inner Emily Midgett for this card - which is especially fitting, since she is the one who illustrated this set!

I started off with some new colors of Concord & 9th cardstock - the main color is called Bluebell. I stamped the new Daisy Frame image and white heat embossed it on a panel of that color, then ink blended over the top with the coordinating stencils using Twilight and Galaxy inks. I die cut it with the coordinating die, and just love all the fun detail! I used another panel of that same color of cardstock for the background, trimmed a tiny bit smaller than my white A2 cardbase, then added a smaller panel of white cardstock that I embossed with the Whirlpool Spinner embossing folder. I added a few thin strips on a diagonal with more of the C&9 cardstock, this time the color I used was Capri. The sentiment was the part I struggled with the longest - I kept trying other things, but just didn't love them. Then, I pulled out the new Opulent Thanks sentiment die, and it was like the magical music started playing - it was perfect! I die cut it from white glitter cardstock, and the shadow layer from vellum, then adhering it on that same diagonal from the smaller cardstock strips. Perfection! Here is a closer look at all the fun details on this monochromatic card:

Floral Arch Card Set - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Today I'm using up leftovers from the cards I shared last night - die cut shapes are so fun to run through an embossing folder, and Simon Says Stamp has so many lovely ones! This one is from the newest release, and paired up with some of the new XL Reverse Sentiment strips, these cards came together so quickly and easily!

I had the die cut panels from A2 Stitched Arches die, cut from Lawn Fawn Schoolyard paper pack already, so I ran them through the new Alstroemeria Blooms embossing folder. I layered them with foam adhesive on my white cardbases, then added sentiments from the new Big Bold Headlines Reverse XL Sentiment Strips, cut with the XL EZ Strips Banners die. I rounded off the top two corners of each card to match the arch design, then finished off by tucking a few very closely coordinating enamel glitter dots on each card - they add a subtle bit of texture and interest! Here are more photos of this fun set:

Woodland Arch Scene Cards - Simon Says Stamp

Hello! I'm stopping by with a set of cards today using supplies from the recent release at Simon Says Stamp, paired up with a couple of add on sets from the last card kit. I think they worked so well together, and these cards were absolutely fun to put together!

I started off these cards by creating some soft ink blended backgrounds with the Darling Patterns 1 stencil set. I blended my lightest shades of ink from the center of panels of white cardstock first, then blended the deeper shade of ink over the top with each of the stencils. I used Butter, Zest, Rhubarb, Apple, Seafoam, and Surf inks. Next, I paired sentiments from Paper Cut Messages with images from Woodland Friends, and stamped both of those directly over the ink blended panels with black ink. Next, I created the arch windows using A2 Stitched Arches dies, cutting one each from coordinating colors of Lawn Fawn Schoolyard cardstock, then a smaller one from Tonic Sugar Crystal glitter cardstock to tuck behind to add a double layer framed effect. I adhered those together, then popped them up on foam adhesive over the main images! Here are more photos of all these cute finished cards:

Bold Sunflower Card Duo - Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness Release

Good morning! Today I've got some bold and bright cards using more of the NEW Every Happiness release from Simon Says Stamp - and I'm using that same amazing sunflower layering stamp that I shared a project with last week. This time I switched up the stem colors, and made a set of cards instead of a 3D project.

I stamped a couple of the blooms from the beautiful Sunflower Meadow layering set with the same Butter, Zest, Honey, and Allspice for the bloom, then switched things up and stamped the stems with Cadette ink. I just love yellow and blue together! For the background, I used some Honey cardstock with the gorgeous new Bedazzled embossing folder, then layered up a couple of the new Stitched Arches dies cut from white and Starlight cardstock. I used sentiments from the set, stamped in black, wrapped some white twine around the entire cards and tied in a bow, then finished off with a few Dazzling Sunbeam gems for sparkle! Here are more photos of this finished set:

Twirl-Worthy Birthday - Simon Says Stamp Every Happiness Release

Good morning! I have another card to share today using the NEW Every Happiness release from Simon Says Stamp. It's full of happy pastels and playful images, and an adorable punny sentiment as well!

I started off by die cutting one of the Petal Point Frames from Sea Glass cardstock - I often die cut pretty frames like this from white and layer over colored cardstock, but this time I reversed it, and I really love how it looks! Need to remember to do that more often! I then die cut 3 of the circles from Artful Palette Christmas set using Lemon Chiffon, Cotton Candy, and Green Apple cardstocks. I stamped 3 images from Easy Breezy and heat embossed with clear powder for a touch of shine, then layered all the die cut pieces and image with thin foam adhesive for lots of dimension. I stamped and white heat embossed a sentiment from the same set, trimmed it into a thin strip, and added it as well. Finished off with a few coordinating Dazzling gems in Butter, Bubblegum, and Sprout! Here's a closer look:

Miss You Cottage - Simon Says Stamp

Good morning! Last week while getting ready to go camping for the weekend, I spotted a couple things in my leftovers and extras pile (tell me I'm not the only one who has one of those?!?), and had a burst of inspiration! This card came together so quickly using a mix of supplies from Simon Says Stamp, and while I probably never would have pulled these items out together to create this card, I love how all the elements came together in this quirky design!

That adorable little house was stamped in black and clear heat embossed using the adorable Cottagecore set - leftover from another project that I took in a different direction. I had a partially die cut circle that was also something I hadn't ended up using as I planned - die cut from an A2 panel using the largest of the Stitched Circles dies. I pulled out a fun assortment of colored cardstock - Cornflower, Honey, and Green Leaf, and trimmed strips in two different sizes. I tucked the larger ones at an angle across a white cardbase, then added the partial circle panel with foam adhesive, and the house tucked in over that with more foam adhesive. I stamped a sentiment from Classic Friendship directly on the cardbase, then die cut a few hearts using an older set called Mini Hearts and some Lipstick cardstock to look like they were popping out of the chimney. I added glitter drops on those hearts for extra sparkle, added the thin strips of cardstock to the bottom of the card, and finished off with some May Arts Natural jute string wrapped around and tied in a bow! Here is a closer look at the finished card:
