Today calls for a Celebration - Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live

Good morning! I'm stopping by today to share a card I created earlier this week for a Pinkfresh Studio YouTube Live. I used some of the newest release to create this card, and I love the modern and bold fall color combo! Scroll past this first photo for the video if you'd like to watch this card come together!

Here is the replay of the live video:

For this card, I used the Playful Petals set in a couple different ways. I started off with the press plate to create a letterpress background, using Lemon Whip ink on Cotton Betterpress cardstock. I then ink blended just the main 3 florals on the main image in some vibrant fall tones, then die cut those with the separate die that cuts just those pieces. While they can be popped up for dimension, they also work lovely on their own, so I put them to use here! I created a frame for the background using the new Blanket Stitched Octagons, cutting a window from white cardstock, then die cutting a frame from Ivory Glitter cardstock. I arranged the florals, then added a bit more dimension with some leaves cut from white cardstock with the new Garden Party die. The sentiment is a mix from the new Here for You Sentiments stamp set, and a secondary sentiment from the Playful Petals stamp set. I finished off with some coordinating Clear Drops in the centers of each of the flowers! Here are more photos of these cards:

Beautiful Fall Day - Pinkfresh Studio Craft Along Card

Good morning! Last year we started something new at Pinkfresh called Craft Along - we just finished the September Craft Along last night, and registration is now open for the next one in October! What is Craft Along? Well, it's basically a mini event, that is far more affordable and flexible for those who want community, crafting, and connection, but perhaps want the flexibility to use what they already have, or purchase a smaller bundle at a discount. We include alternatives to our chosen sets to give you all the options, and some previous month's attendees even came up with other fabulous options! You can always check out all our event options HERE for more info.

The event is through a private Zoom link - so you are able to chat, ask questions, and we can even see your lovely faces if you wish! You are (of course!) welcome to leave your camera off, and your sound muted as well if you are more comfortable with that. It has been so fun to be able to see some of your lovely faces as you crafted as well.

Since this was part of that event, I'm not going to share any details of how I created it - but I wanted to share some photos, and I've included a supply list at the bottom as well. I really love this card I created for the September Craft Along - and can't wait to share my October one with you all as well! We also have a bundle of supplies, so you can choose to use what you already own, or grab the bundle at a discount if you wish. The additional essentials we used are also available at a 10% discount (use code OCT24CA) if you don't have those in your stash and want to grab them - I've linked them below as well! We hope you will join us for this fun adventure and event! You can find all the details HERE for registering for the event, as well as the bundle HERE at a discount if you don't have the product or something similar you'd like to create with.

Here is a look at last night's Craft Along card:

Beautiful Day - Simon Says Stamp and Pinkfresh STAMPtember collaboration

Hello! I'm dropping by to share a card I created with the newest Simon Says Stamp STAMPtember exclusive - today is Pinkfresh...and you know that I'm excited to share this one! :) I got my set fairly last minute, so I didn't have a ton of time to create - so my card is pretty simple. But sometimes simple can be pretty! You can find the stamp and die set HERE, or just the stamp HERE.

The month of STAMPtember at Simon Says Stamp is full of special surprises and limited edition exclusives revealed throughout the month. As I already mentioned, today's release is a stamp, die, and stencil set from Pinkfresh Studio. Here is the card I created with this lovely new set:

Since I didn't have the dies to work with, I decided to do a bit of a faux watercolor look for my card. I used some Simon Says Stamp Positively Saturated inks - they react with water, so it made it easy! I used my MISTI, and stamped the image in an ombre tone on watercolor paper, then misted with water to let the colors run together. I let that dry thoroughly, then put it back in my MISTI, and restamped with the softest color of the ink I used to start with. This added a crisp layer over the softer one. I added the largest sentiment from the stamp set in Versafine ink - LOVE this one! - and then trimmed the panel and mounted with foam on a white cardbase. Finished off with a few Iridescent Clear Drops to accent! Here are a couple more photos:

Shaker Window Trio - Pinkfresh Studio Instagram Release Hop

Hello! Today I am part of a fun Instagram hop to celebrate the new Pinkfresh Studio "Here for You" Release. There are giveaways up for grabs, so hop on over to check that out if you haven't yet! I have had so much fun creating with this release - yesterday was the blog hop, and I shared lots of cards for that! Today I'm sharing a trio of shaker cards - yesterday I shared the reverse foiled versions of the cards I made with the leftover foil from these cards!

I used the Dainty Floral Frame press plate with Satin Pastel foils, then die cut with the largest Nested Rectangle die. I hot foiled coordinating colors of the new Nested Elongated Ovals as well. I created my shaker elements, and filled the shakers with Iridescent Circle confetti, and coordinating seed beads, then popped the oval frames up over the shaker windows with foam adhesive. Never too much dimension, right? I added sentiments that were hot foiled from a couple other sets from the release, and finished off with a few Champagne Clear Drops to frame the sentiments. Here are more photos of these cards:

Pinkfresh Studio “Here for You” Release Blog Hop

Good morning! Today is the blog hop to celebrate Pinkfresh Studio's "Here for You" Release! You aren't going to want to miss a stop along the way - TONS of inspiration and prizes up for grabs! YAY! Click HERE to shop the new release!

Included in this release is also our long awaited ink refill storage case, and large blending brushes! I'm so in love with the brushes - they blend like butter!

As usual - I have a lot of cards to share today with the new release!

First up, I have this card using Playful Petals, paired up a couple other items from the release.

I hot foiled the image, and colored it with the coordinating layering stencils, then created the frame using the Blanket Stitched Octagons die. For the background, I used the lovely new Charming Stitched Florals coverplate die, ink blended with those FABULOUS new large blending brushes in coordinating colors. Sentiment is from Here for You Sentiments set, and a bit of twine finishes this card off. Here are more photos of this finished card:

Next up - a new favorite set I used on this card!

The new Garden Party die and stencils combo is so fabulous! I love how versatile it is - ink blend the flowers and greenery to die cut, or die cut from colored cardstock or glitter paper. So fun! I used the Charming Stitched Floral coverplate die to hot foil for this background for a different look, and another one of those Blanket Stitched Octagons dies for the background. The Here for You Sentiments were also used again on this card. Here are more photos of this one:

Next up - this card is fairly simple, but I love the letterpress feel to it!

For this one, I focused on some of the letterpress plates in the release to make a pretty much one layer card - with a bit of bling of course! I used the Dainty Floral Frame press plate, then paired it up with one of the Elonged Ovals. Finished off with a sentiment from the Here for You Sentiments, and then just a touch of sparkle with some bling tucked around. Here are a couple more photos of this card:

This next set of cards might be my very FAVORITE of the release!

I used the Dainty Floral Frame set again, only hot foiled in Satin Pastel foils. I used those panels for some cards I'm sharing tomorrow for the IG hop - but these feature the reverse foil using the Solid Hot Foil plate! I absolutely LOVE the way these look like white on colored cardstock, thanks to the reverse foiling. I added a popped up oval panel using the Elongated Ovals dies, sentiments from the Here for You Sentiments, and then die cut Garden Party die from white cardstock to add some simple floral clusters around the frame. So fun!!! Here is a closer look at these:

And finally - I don't create very many monochromatic cards, but I love how this one turned out!

I actually foiled the Art Deco Floral Arch using Cobalt Blue foil, then colored it in with coordinating blues from Pinkfresh inks. I die cut it with the coordinating die, then popped it up with foam adhesive on a cardbase of soft blue cardstock with a bit of extra blue blending at the top. Finished off simple with a sentiment from the Here for You Sentiments - in case you can't tell, I really enjoyed those from this release! Here are more photos of this final card:
