A Stitched Graduation Card

Good morning! Just popping in to share a graduation card I whipped out yesterday for a friend - she wanted some graduation cards for girls! I will be working on 3 more today - same layout, just different pattern paper and perhaps slightly different colors!

I used some Simple Stories pattern paper, stamped the flowers and leaves using Avery Elle's Laurels Stamp set, then stamped my sentiment with Winnie and Walter's The Big, the Bold, and the You. I used Hero Arts inks for all of them. Finished off with a bit of machine stitching - LOVE mixing straight and zig-zag stitching on one card!

I also wanted to link this up to Virginia's View Challenge #3 - Stitching:

As well as this weeks Cure for the Monday Blues Challenge - I loved the soft color scheme!

Thanks for stopping by today! Have a wonderful day!!!

  3. Hello, Heather! Your stamping is absolutely superb (as we all know) and the two types of machine-stitching really enhance the entire design! Beautifully done! Thanks so much for playing Virginia's View Challenge!
