Card Photography Quick Tip Video

Good morning! So...I have had so many questions lately about my card photography, and someone suggested that I try to do a Quick Tip video sharing how I do it - so this was my best go at it! A little different for me to have a bit more than my hands in the video! :) Haha! Anyway - would love to know what you think - and hope it is helpful! I don't really have any expensive equipment - other than my camera, and this would be helpful even without a super fancy camera.

Here is the card I was photographing in the video - using some more new releases from Unity Stamp Company, and a similar design to a card I shared a couple days ago HERE.

I just had fun doing some watercoloring the image and adding splatters, and used a Lil' Inker's die to add the stitched edge.

Here are the links to the supplies I used on this card - have a wonderful day!!!

  10. Heather, thanks for the video! Question, is your white background something you purchased or something you made up? My craftroom has no windows at all so lighting is a huge problem for me. With that white background on my kitchen table where there's windows would be great. Thanks again for the video and idea. Your cards beautiful as always.

  11. BEAUTIFUL card - LOVE IT!!!
FABULOUS video - REALLY, REALLY appreciate the advice you have shared, I always struggle with my photos, sometimes it takes longer to photograph them than it does to create them. I look forward to trying it real soon. I tend to make larger cards, so I think that I will have to work on some backgrounds to suit.
THANK YOU SO MUCH for sharing :)
