Spotlight Vellum Image

Good morning! The other day when I sat down to make some Quick Tip videos, I kind of stumbled upon a fun new technique - something that happens pretty often when I am making these videos! I call them happy accidents! :)

I made two different colors with two different stamps I loved the effect so much!

Isn't that a fun effect? Here is the quick video to show how I did it:

I wanted the images to pop a little more off the card than with just the vellum, and fussy cutting them out of white cardstock did just the trick!

I also realized that I couldn't adhere them directly to the vellum, or the adhesive would shot - hence the tip in the video for how to get the white piece perfectly lined up behind the vellum.

These are actually the second set of these that I made - the first video was a blooper unfortunately, since I must have missed and not pushed start on the camera, then when I thought I was pushing stop, I was actually starting the film rolling. Needless to say - I have a lot of nonsense as I cleaned my desk and tried to decide what to do next! Haha!

On this one I added the sentiment on a separate strip - I love how this also helps hold the vellum in place on the lower edge.

Product links are all below - including affiliate links where possible, which simply means if you use one of the links below that I receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. Thanks so much for stopping by! Have a wonderful day!!!
