Lil' Inker July Release - Day 2

Hello! Today we are kicking off Day two of the new release at Lil' Inker Designs - you should have arrived here from our newest Design Team Member - Jessica Frost Ballas - if you stopped by here you can refer to the entire blog hop at the bottom so you don't miss a stop or a chance to win one of the giveaways. I also have links below to all the new products I used on today's cards.

Today I'm sharing a couple cards featuring only die cuts - no stamps at all!

This first one uses the new Boxed Up So Happy For You Greeting Die - seriously, these make the easiest cards! I did some distress ink blending on white cardstock, then die cut so that it has an ombre look.

I also used the Quilted Stitched Spirals background die - this thing is FABULOUS! Then a simple cut with the previously released Fringe Scalloped Border Die - and finished off with a bit of hemp twine. I also secured the die cut sentiment focal point with a bit of clear foam tape - just enough to keep it where I wanted it.

And then a birthday card!

The new Happy Birthday Border Die is another one that I think is quickly going to become a favorite for me! Birthday cards are probably one of my most made variety - and this is so versatile! I also used Border Builders to cut the rounded zig zag edge underneath.

Finished off with that lovely Quilted Stitched Spirals background die and some ink blending, some plaid and gold paper, a bit of gold thread, and a few sequins from Pretty Pink Posh.

Your next stop along the blog hop is the Lil' Inker Designs Store

  20. Super cool ombre shading on your die cut!! Loving it and I love the mixture of colors and textures on your second card. It even looks like the glitter was colored as well since it looks like it has both a gold and greenish hue. Super cool effect!
