Galaxy Background - You're a Star

Hello! YAY! The brand new Simon Says Stamp Encouraging Words release just went live! There are lots of fun new stamps, dies, stencils - and I spotted a coordinating die to a previously released stamp set too!

I'm popping by to share a card with you using one of the new dies, and my second ever galaxy background - although I think I'm totally hooked now and will be making lots more in the future hopefully!

I used watercolors, splatters of gold watercolors, and splatters of white paint to create my background and die cut with Wonky Stitched Rectangles. Once that dried thoroughly, I die cut the new You're a Star wafer die from white cardstock, placed it over my background, then picked it up with Press and Seal to carefully apply adhesive to the back of it. I pressed it back in place, let it dry in place, then covered it with Glossy Accents to help it pop a bit more. Once that dried, I matted it with mint and navy cardstock to finish off!
