Good morning! This morning I'm happy to be blog hopping along with Reverse Confetti and My Sweet Petunia - using my MISTI (one of my FAVORITE crafting tools) along with Reverse Confetti Stamps and Dies! There are of course prizes up for grabs as well (including a BONUS giveaway!) - more on that at the bottom of this post!
You should have arrived here from Dina Kowal - if you just started here, make sure and head over to Amy Tsuruta to start at the beginning of the hop, or refer to the Blog Hop list at the bottom of this post.
I'm sharing a photo tutorial today for this little treat/gift bag:
I'm using my MISTI for this project to perfectly align my stamped image behind the negative die cut - this would work well on a card also!

I'm sharing a photo tutorial today for this little treat/gift bag:
I'm using my MISTI for this project to perfectly align my stamped image behind the negative die cut - this would work well on a card also!
I started off by die cutting the new Stitched Rays Cover Panel from white cardstock, then die cutting one of the Tall Blooms Coordinating Dies from the center of it.
Next, I aligned my paper bag in my MISTI, added that panel over the top and held in place with the magnets, then fit the stamp from Tall Blooms into the negative of the die cut.
I then picked up the stamp with the lid of my MISTI, removed the white panel, and was able to stamp in the perfectly aligned place I wanted too, but with no risk of getting ink on my white panel. I stamped the image with Olive Dye Ink. Then it was easy to attach the white panel with the negative lined up over the stamped image.
Next, I heat embossed a sentiment from the Tall Blooms Stamp Set on a banner from Flowers for Mom Confetti Cuts, attached it with foam adhesive and a bundle of white thread tucked underneath, and finished off by embellishing with some Nuvo Jewel Drops. I also used a white colored pencil on the leaves of the stamped image.
Once that all dried, I folded over the top of the bag, punched a couple holes in the top, and tied it closed with some jute string! Simple and fun!
