Good morning! It's time! The new 5th Birthday May release is live at Reverse Confetti - and the DT is hopping with even more inspiration for you! I have TWO cards to share with you today!
For this first card - I just HAD to use this darling sentiment from the new Hey Sugar stamp set! Haha!
I colored it with Copics, die cut with the coordinating Hey Sugar Confetti Cuts, and mounted it with foam adhesive on a Stitched Square Confetti Cut with the sentiment stamped underneath. I layered together some of the pretty papers from the new 6x6 Paper Pad - Paper Bliss underneath.
I then added some glitter Nuvo Drops to the frosting, and on a whim decided to add Crystal Glaze to the cake part. I wasn't sure if they would run together and get weird - but I took a chance on it. The result was this SUPER fun effect you can see in this photo:
Next up, I used a couple sets to put together this ultra - girly card!
I stamped the floral square from Pattern Blocks Stamp set, and colored it with my Zig Markers, blending with a waterbrush as I went along. I let it dry, then stamped a sentiment from My Tribe Stamp set over the top, and die cut the panel using the largest die from Stitched Square Confetti Cut.
I layered it on more of the paper from the new 6x6 Paper Pad - Paper Bliss, and tore off the lacy edge of a doily to adhered behind the bottom of the square panel to give a lace effect. Finished off with a bit of jute twine!
Here is a peek at the new products I used that released today!
