Hello! I'm (finally!) stopping by to share my first card created with the NEW April Simon Says Stamp Card Kit - Follow the Rainbows! This kit is full of rainbow happiness - just the thing for our crazy stress filled world right now! The included stamp set by the same name is just lovely and filled with fabulous sentiments, the fun Clouds for Days stencil is super fun, the pattern paper is RAINBOWS, there is some embossing powder - not to mention the Cardstock, Envelopes, and more!
The past couple months I decided to try filming a video for my cards using the monthly card kits - I have had such a great response so far that I will continue as time allows. I've posted the video for this card on my YouTube channel HERE, and also below so you can watch either place you prefer. :)

I am by no means an expert when it comes to watercolors - but had so much fun with this bright red pop of color with the moody blacks and grays in the background! I used my MISTI to stamp my image from Follow the Rainbows a few times with black ink on Arches Cold Press watercolor paper, then just slowly watercolored the image in.
My camera had a problem at the end, and didn't correctly film the final part of the video when I added the cloud stenciling (grrr!!!) - but I basically just blended simple layers of clouds over the background with Hickory Smoke Distress Oxide ink and the Clouds for Days stencil in the kit. Die cut the panel with a Stitched Rectangle, and popped it on a Fog cardbase.

I think this would be fun to do with different colors as well - perhaps make an entire set! What color would you choose?
